Very friendly host who allowed us to check-in early and communicated well. Property has some nice cozy features and heat worked well as well as air filter. Check in and out was easy. Free fresh coffee and carafe to make it in was a treat in the morning with two nice mugs. Wi-fi was fast. The temples, Kyushu museum, and hills around were green and lovely.
The building is on a main two-lane road and not well sound insulated, so we got some noise from the street and the unit above, but it quoted down later in the evening, The full size bed was small for two, and felt lumpy and springy, which was the biggest disappointment. There were no glasses or cutlery provided. Dining options at night in Dazaifu are limited, as it’s a big day trip destination only. Our unit was a small one one the 3rd floor and looked at power lines and poles, so maybe higher, larger, and rooms in the back would be much better experience.
