I had to spend one night in Dormund in July 2026 and I chose City- Pension for my stay.
The staff was very friendly and the room exceeded my expectations in terms of price, cleanliness and location. It had all the necessary consumables, which was great for me as I wasn’t prepared to stay overnight in this city but my flight was delayed, so I had to find a place until the next day.

Was clean
I didn’t like the fact that, the warm water doesn’t flow in the morning, only during the day and evening. Also, other guests make a lot of noise at night, they’re always talking on top of their voices on the floor and that is very late at night. I didn’t like it at all

The Balcony was a blessing. The beds were comfortable, we were 2 adults and my daughter(12). It was too hot when we arrived, (summer time) so opening the balcony the whole time was our only way to get ventilation since they didn’t have any Electric Fan. About the wifi, i forgot to ask the receptionist about the password so i cannot rate on it. The toilet wasn’t the best, but staying at this place for a night is already fine, since its very near the shops, Rewe. Cloudy cafe, kiosks.
The elevator going up the room stinks like someone peed on it. We could care less but i just wanted to state it here. There is an option to just use the stairs. The toilet could be more cleaner, also a small fan during summer will be good to have.
