un hotel pequeño, precioso, es una casa antigua al lado del rio y un tempo, estuvimos como en un apartamento sin cocina con onsen propio, todo fue muy autentico y excepcional. La cena y el desayuno es japonés, pero fueron excepcionales. El pueblo es precioso y sin masificación, una experiencia inolvidable. El personal muy atento.

Breakfast was hearty and tasty.
Dinner for 3 nights all were different, excellent preparation by the chef and honoring the specialties of the locality.
I loved how they used the local herbs in their whole identity
After 8pm, entire place is dark. Lobby lights all turned off and a little concerning especially if there is an emergency, as all staff leave the premises, and noone is there except the guests. Doors get locked and safety can be an issue

The staff were wonderful and incredibly accommodating. The location at a confluence of a river was pretty unique and beautiful.
We struggled to sleep as there were scratching noises near the beds which we assumed were either birds nests or vermin within the walls beneath the rafters. The balcony had what appeared to be droppings so we weren’t sure if it was related. We informed the hotel the next day to look into it so hopefully they will. The property generally was more dated than what the photos suggest.
