Don’t stay here

Had hot water.

The staff was extremely rude. We initially closed only one night. When we woke up the next morning we decided we want to extend our stay. We went down to the reception to tell them and they said no problem but that we have to pay more (almost 1,000 rupees more). We told them we’d only stay for the same price but they refused and just told us to leave (yes they actually told us to leave). They then told us check-out is at 11:00. All this back and forth negotiating took about 20 minutes, so by the time we were done it was 11:00. They told us they don’t care and that we have to leave by 11:00. They stood at our door with the door open and watched us pack. They then threatened us that if we don’t leave they’ll call the police. We said we’ll pay them for late check-out. They agreed but still continued to stand at the door and pressure us. The time was 11:10 might I add. Besides this experience the facilities were not clean. There were stains all over the bed. The shower curtain was full of mold, and there was a huge unexplainable hole in the bathroom ceiling. The location also isn’t that great. It’s right on the roundabout, with heavy traffic and honking all day from early in the morning to late at night. We originally booked a room there because we arrived late and we didn’t have the energy to search for other places and this was the cheapest and most decent. We wanted to extend our stay because we knew we were only staying two more nights and didn’t want the hassle of re-packing and moving and we wanted something fairly cheap. This place isn’t worth saving any money. Not the facilities, not the location, and definitely not the staff.
