Sie ist nicht nur wunderschön eingerichtet, sondern man spürt auch, dass hier wirklich an jedes kleine Detail gedacht wurde – das macht den Aufenthalt so besonders!
Wir waren restlos begeistert, dass uns sogar ein kleiner, festlich geschmückter Weihnachtsbaum erwartet hat – eine so herzliche Geste!

Scenic, serene, breathtaking. What an incredible luxury hut surrounded by surreal Norwegian beauty over looking a magnificent Fjord. 20min drive from Lyngdal, this setting has much to offer people in search of a rural retreat.
Vigdis met us in person and escorted us to the hut upon arrival. With a quick tour of the hut, the holiday began. With three couples, the facilities available at the hut were ample to accommodate our stay. Opting to hire the boat with the house, we travelled the fjord exploring the Norwegian landscape from a different perspective.
Spending another day hiking in Skrelia, we enjoyed a picnic by the Skrelia waterfalls. A sight well worth a visit in the area. Approximately 40mins from the house.
Other things to bare in mind are additional costs to be paid and should be factored into your budgeting; bed linen & towels ($125 NOK pp), electricity, water, fire wood, house cleaning ($1000 NOK), boat hire ($3500 NOK) and boat fuel.
This was a fantastic, memorable and worthwhile vacation to a stunning part of Norway. A special thank you also to Vigdis for her hospitality throughout the stay. Highly recommended for any couples looking for a secluded getaway to a magnificent setting.
