The Oasis Inn is in a historic building in a centuries-old city, full of multi-storied stone buildings, but once you enter the courtyard, you enter a place of peace and beauty . . . an oasis in the middle of the bustling city of Budapest.
The A/C was wonderful after hiking around in 100 degree heat!
John and Bora (?) were fabulous hosts! They answered our many, many questions.
The location is really great: bus to airport is just down the street/tram to train station is a few blocks more in the other direction/Aldi grocery store is a block away/ the Danube is within walking distance/ many, many restaurants are just blocks away

The price was very competitive.
The location is not very far from the center but the street is not very lively.
The standard room I booked was about 1,95 m height.
In addition, I was requested to leave a pre-authorized payment with my credit card in order to enter the room. This was a complete surprise for me and I didn’t appreciate it at all.
