Loved the bedroom and the location of the apartment.
It was a bit vague as to what facililties were in the apartment. You share living space with other guests. This detail was not clear on booking.
I do not want to leave a negative review however, I feel I need to share the following.....
I shared the apartment address with the taxi driver from the port, who just dropped me off on the street outside, as he did not know the apartment.
It took me some time to find it as there is no sign.
This was the experience of the other guests who arrived the following day too.
Even with google maps it was a challenge. Not great on a hot day coming from the port with luggage.
I was dying to wash my hands on arrival and there was no hand basin soap, or bath mat provided for the shower.
No toiletries are provided which is fine but basic handwashing soap is essential. Some was provided.
Unfortunately the internet did not work for the first two days so I had to use my own data.
I was told it was an issue with my roaming phone and not an apartment issue.
However, the owner resolved this after 2 days into my 4 night stay.
In my bathroom there was a blockage in the drain caused the bathroom floor drain to flood upwards (badly) when I turned on the shower. This was resolved while I stayed there.
All in all a great spot and location. Very clean. However, I am not sure I would have enjoyed the shared living experience if the top floor had been at full capacity. Thankfully I had very considerate guests in the room next to me.
On my only non early sightseeing day - the cleaner turned up at 8.30 am. Plus on check out day- The owner and cleaner both arrived at 10.15 am, 45 minutes before we were due to check out. To me this felt a bit uncomfortable, and felt like they were trying to hurry us along.
We were allowed to leave our luggage at the apartment until ferry departure - which was a great benefit.

The host was very helpful. He picked us up at the port & responded to all of our requests The room was comfortable.
We weren’t informed that there were 45 steps to get to the room.Difficult to do, especially with luggage. We also weren’t informed that the kitchen area was shared with other rooms. The water was not potable, yellowish at times.
