The location is an excellent base for exploring Northumberland. The house is very spacious, with a private driveway and a secure enclosed garden, which was perfect for my dog. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
On the other hand, I think the property would benefit from a more thorough deep clean. We noticed that underneath the sofa cushions wasn’t clean, and the freezer also needed a better clean. Addressing these areas would make the overall experience even better.

the location was perfect for our stay. The house was perfect for our needs with 3 young boys, there was nothing for them to break and so much space for them to explore. There is a field behind the house and a wide pathway all around the house which they had loads of fun with their little scooters. Also there was a play area on the opposite side of the road.
The house was so spacious and although we found out after we arrived that one of the toilets was out of action, we managed very well.
There was a lovely little hamper left for us on our arrival.
The house was very clean, except for black on the windows and skirting boards could have done with a wipe over.
There was no washing up liquid and we bought a cheese grater and have left for future users

This property was really clean and tidy and very peaceful.worth every penny with off street parking and a really safe area and any issues or questions the landlord replies really quickly and more than helpful. I work in the area and will definitely be biking to stay here again.

The location is amazing, not far off the A1 and it was easy to get to all the local sights ie Bamburgh, Seahouses etc. The bungalow was big and it was very quiet. We did chose it because of the location as we required a dark sky area for photography and that was exactly what we got.
There were no spare towels and no bath mats - the photography and en suite had carpet which got a bit wet after using the shower. No toiletries except hand soap. There were no side lights in the main room so we had to take the bedside lamps back and forward. The kitchen was clean but again no spare tea towels, no kitchen roll etc. The house is a bit dated but we knew that from previous reviews and we were fine with that, it could do with a bit of a make over. I had messaged the company to ask something but they didn't reply so I don't know what would have happened in an emergency.
