The Blue Horizon

The Blue Horizon — a place we'd love to return to! 💙 We stayed at The Blue Horizon in Vlora from September 9 to September 30 and were absolutely delighted with our choice! The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a balcony, offering a beautiful sea view and breathtaking sunsets! The building has a convenient lift and a large parking area, which was a big plus for us. There is also a small shop right on the property, with plenty of other shops, restaurants, cafés and pizzerias nearby. We especially loved the terrace and the hotel's restaurant! Breakfasts are delicious and generous, with very reasonable prices. Lunches and dinners were equally wonderful: freshly caught seafood, excellent grilled fish and prices that make it easy to enjoy dining here every day. We tried many restaurants in Vlora during our stay, but eventually realised that the food we enjoyed most was right here! And having a meal on the beautiful terrace, with its incredible views of the sea and the famous Sazan Island, makes the experience even more special. The location is excellent, with the beach just a short walk away. This is an incredibly beautiful part of Vlora and Albania. However, it is worth knowing that the hotel is situated in the hilly part of the city, so you need to walk down some steps to reach the sea. The beach is pebbly, with rather large stones, so water shoes are a must. But the sea is absolutely stunning — crystal clear, transparent and an incredible shade of turquoise. The water is deep, making it perfect for those who enjoy swimming. But what makes The Blue Horizon truly special is its people! The hotel staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly. Dori is a wonderful host and manager, always helpful and genuinely caring about his guests. He has a lovely family, too. A special thank you to Elca, such a warm-hearted and lovely person.

We have spent one night in Blue Horizon. The hotel is placed on a coast on the side of Vlorë. The staff in the hotel was kind and thoughtful. There is a bar at the ground level of the hotel with an amazing view to the sea. Hotel rooms have the possibility of getting the view too. Our room was cozy and comfortable, ac was working well and we had a good rest. Not too far from the hotel are beaches and restaurants.

The only point I’d pay more attention to is cleanliness. The room generally was clean, but we had some hair on the balcony. We totally understand that this could’ve been brought by wind, but would advise to do the last check before guests come in. Also during season the street that leads to the hotel can get stuck in traffic from beach goers. Choose wisely the times you go in or out of the hotel

I made reservation of 484 Sq ft Deluxe Triple Room with Sea View but this hotel gave me small room without sea view saying no bigger room for me. Also, the facilities was old and the shower booth was too small to move body for shower
