Free luggage storage before checkin and after checkout. They took our luggage up to our room before checkin which was nice as we came back to check in after dinner. They had free wine and Amazake one afternoon in the lobby and for Valentine’s Day they had free chocolates and hot chocolate in the lobby. One day they had free hand warmers at reception. Great location near main shopping street and train station and bus stops. Wifi was good. Amenities are down at reception. Room wear in your room. They clean your room every couple of days but give you new towels every day in a bag on your room door handle.
The men’s onsen is better than the women’s onsen and they don’t switch it which isn’t fair. They advertise pictures of the men’s onsen and then women miss out and have no outdoor onsen and only one bath. They should switch it every day so women and men get to experience both onsens. The towels always smelled like prawn crackers. I googled it and it said something about trapped bacteria which made me feel like they weren't clean enough. Very disgusting and in the few days we were there every new towel delivery smelled the same.

Location is close to JR Station which is good and the breakfast has many varieties and delicious. The staffs are polite and helpful.
The room is small and very dated. The bathroom has a moldy smell. I would stay at the JR inn next time.
