It was very clean, there's a dryer and a washing machine. You can put your food in the fridge, I felt safe staying in the female dorm. The locker is directly next to the bed, and there's a bit of space between the bed and the wall, which is useful. There are several coat rack on the side, and hangers. There's even a place above the bed to put things. The locker are large, so it could fit my backpack (a regular backpack, not a hiking one) and there was a place under the bed to put your luggage.
It is VERY close to Kanazawa station, like 6 minutes away (by walk). The fact that you can leave your luggage from 8 am, and there is some cables to tie your bags is awesome as well.
It is, sincerely, the best hostel I've ever stayed. It's extremely convenient.
The only thing I don't like is that, it's located on the third floor (second floor if you don't count the Japanese way) and there isn't an elevator. I had a big luggage so I had to count on my strength to carry my luggage and bags.

The location and affordability of this hostel in Kanazawa was amazing. Just a short walk from Kanazawa station and other conveniences meant transportation was super easy througout the area, especially to the beach in our case. The pods were good sized and we slept well, and there were lots of spaces to hang out when not in bed.
The pods didn't feel super private in comparison to others I've stayed in. I still felt very safe and secure, but the use of only curtains left me feeling like I was concerned about my volume throughout the stay.

cannot believe this hostel isn't rated higher. i stayed in the female dorm and each bed had a big locker to keep things in during the day and storage for big bags under the beds. bunk bed style cabin with a curtain, lights and plugs but with no bed on top!! the female only a section is completely separate with full length mirrors, seating areas and spacious bathroom. incredible value for money and everything was spotless and i got a fresh towel on my second day free of charge

It was near the train station, location was good. There is also a restaurant downstairs that is high rated.
A few roaches popped up and about at night. Staff were largely absent.
