The location was good, right across the beach and 5 minutes away from Mambo beach. The room was spacious and the AC kept the room cool despite the heat.
When booking, I mentioned I'd prefer an early check in at 10 am, instead of the usual 3 pm. I got a message saying it could not be guaranteed. So I planned to arrive after 3 pm and went to the beach. I then got a call at 2pm saying they were waiting for me since 10 am and could not wait any longer. If I did not show up there at 2:30 pm I would not be able to check in at all. I had to drive the whole island to get there at 3 pm and it ruined one of the very few days we were there for. Very poor communication. The wifi also did was not providing internet access for most of the stay.

It is a nice small hotel, seven rooms, with a nice outside kitchen and seating area. The rooms are modern and clean with good AC, hot water, a fridge, and a very comfortable bed. Reuben the manager was very helpful and easy to contact when I had a question.
I would recommend having a car. I used public transport which worked well going into town but two times returning from town at night I had to wait a while for a shared van/taxi.

I stayed at the Pier Beach Inn & Suites in June 2026. It is a small complex with a nice central patio, very well located for those who prefer quieter areas. There are two restaurants and a small beach, mostly visited by locals, right across the street. Mambo Beach is only 10 min by foot. Michelle, the host, is a super nice, friendly, warm lady. She was excellent at communicating with me before, during and even after my stay. After some changes in other guests’ reservations, Michelle put me in a larger room for the two nights I stayed there. It was a comfortable apartment that included a kitchen, I recommend this place to those who like simple, clean, comfortable accommodation, well located away but nearby from the city, and to those who value a warm welcome. The views - no views from the windows, but no big deal.

Office isn't always open. If you need support or get locked out, it may not be available right away. No hair dryer in the room.
