The location and space

Located very close to Rialto Bridge & ferry stop. Busy restaurants and shops a stones throw from the room. Yet it is tucked away just off the main thoroughfare and is very peaceful & quiet.
Everything (including St Marks Square etc) is easy walking distance.
The room had a comfortable main bed (see negative comments about 2nd bed), good space in the kitchen/dining area and nice bathroom. The room was cleaned daily & coffee pods supplied & refilled daily which was nice.
It backs onto a quiet canal & you can watch the gondola’s passing below which was nice.
We paid for a 2bdr room. The “2nd bed” is small, uncomfortable and on a lean so you feel like you will roll out! My friend had to bunk with me in the main bed. We were still comfortable but not what we were paying for.
The plug in the bathroom was broken so if you fill up the sink you can’t release it. The owner is very responsive and “fixed it”, but we tested again and it was still sticking so we didn’t use it.

Loved this place! It was so central to everything we needed in Venice. The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us which was a nice touch.
Can’t fault it. Only TINY downside is the stairs up to the room but the room was worth it.
