Great stay in a great location

Great location and a very nice clean cabin with everything we needed.

The laundry was across the road and a couple of machines were out of order so it was hard to find a time there was one free.

Perfect option for families in Strahan.

Very clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen. Great place for families with bedrooms upstairs so parents can stay up when kids go to bed. Staff at Big 4 reception so lovely. Big 4 also has laundry $6 load, creek for platypus searching and some games.

It’s not on the Esplanade like other options but we were happy to be away from the wind.

Comfortable pleasant stay

Clean, functional and with easy access to all the best parts of Strahan.

The blinds in one bedroom didn’t fit properly which meant the room was impossible to sleep in until after sunset (annoying with small kids).

Nice little cottage as descripted

I have trouble finding the location as Google Map kept sending us to another place around the corner, end up I have to knock on the door and ask. However, that's no fault to the property. The reception is friendly - giving us a bit of info about the place and where to find meals. The cottage was perfectly clean, with a kitchen and all the kitchenware, pots and utensil. There's even extra hands, body & hair shampoo in the bathroom. The heater is more than enough to keep the whole cottage warm. It's a tiny bit "out of town" but it quiet, though by the road side, not complaining here. Note that the Reception is across the road at the BIG 4 Holiday Park :)

One of the bed side lamb and the bathroom mirror light are not working, but they do not minus any points for me.

we had a lovely stay at kittys place in the loft spa apartment. The apartment was spacious and clean

The apartment was lovely with the loft upstairs. It was very clean and the location was convenient. It would have been more convenient if the loft apartment had an ensuite as we had to use the toilet downstairs during the night.

It was warm, bed good. Easy to find, spa for girls was great. Nice person showed where to go.

Wifi bad, uncomfortable couch, $50 fee if we didn't wash, wipe and put dishes, cups utensils away, didn't have a view

The unit had been renovated recently. All amenities we needed. Clean and comfy beds. Nice and warm and short walk to town

Shower is a little small, kept hitting my elbow on the tap. But would still stay here again and again.

Location was great. Check in staff were very helpful when issues were raised

Teatowel was smelly (this was rectified as soon as I mentioned it and it was done nicely) and room was dusty Walls were thin, could hear the neighbours walking around

Comfortable and cosy cottage stay - with a jacuzzi to boot

We stayed in one of 4 Kitty self-contained cottages, which about a 15-minute stroll along the foreshore to the jetty. It is across the road from the Big4 reception, bottle shop, coffeeshop and laundry, with parking beside the unit. The unit's jacuzzi to relax the muscles was welcome after the long 5-hour drive from Hobart, as was the comfy bed.

Having to keep the curtains drawn for privacy as the surrounding is quite public.

Disappointing

Good bed and clean unit.

Room was meant to be ready at 2 pm. Received a message saying it would be an hour late which was OK. But when we arrived at 3 pm it still wasn't ready. We were told we would need to wait another half an hour. It was finally ready 3:45. After I had a whinge about this, the manager gave me a bottle of wine....which was needed.

Disappointing

location

almost all the lights down stairs didn’t work. Aircon didn’t work. The lady in the office who appeared to be in charge had an attitude and not very helpful. Parking needed more clarity, people staying in other units end up blocking us in and made us have to reverse out on to a busy road.

Wonderful area the accommodation was very comfortable stay.

Beautiful location and building presentation great value for money with all tea and coffee included Great facilities close to Strahan town centre 4 min drive and takeaway across the road.
