I came to Sekepeng Penarek with my family and booked the interconnected chalet, which was perfect for us. Having the chalets inter-connected made it really convenient, especially when travelling with family, while still giving everyone their own space.
We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and kampung style atmosphere. The place was cozy, relaxing, and a great escape from our usual busy routine. The kids, adults and our elderly had a really good time, and it was lovely to spend quality time together in such a calm environment. My elderly hasn't stop praising the place and the surroundings!
If you’re looking for a great escape from city life and want to experience what Terengganu has to offer, especially the beautiful scenery, local food, and culture of Setiu, and are wondering where to stay, Sekepeng Penarek is definitely a place to consider! Our stay gave us the chance to appreciate the quieter, more authentic side of Terengganu, and we’re so glad we chose to stay here. It was the perfect base for our family to relax, explore, and experience Setiu at a slower pace.
Overall, we had a really wonderful family stay at Sekepeng Penarek. Definitely a memorable family getaway, and we would love to come back again!
perhaps later in future, poolside with slide, may put pool ladder, for kids easy access to climb back from the pool, location suggestion, nearby the slide

Everything. The quiet and scenic beach area. The classic and traditional malay wooden house experience. Accommodating assistants at the compound. VERY clean and peaceful Kampung environment.
Nothing. Just as suggestion, if they could switch to an automatic gate at the front entrance it would be nice as for now, we need to do it manually every time coming in or going out of Sekepeng. Oh btw the front gate needs to be closed all the time to avoid domestic animals from getting into the compound.
