comfortable well located villa just bring plenty of insect repellant and bite cream.

good location to walk to either town centre or beach. well laid out set up. covered outside areas. reasonably spacious for two couples. pool. bbq area

pool was dirty on arrival and I had to call owner who did sort it quickly. no fly screens on any windows or doors and it’s location means there’s lots of mossies and other insects which caused lots of bites. garden and pool area was a bit unkempt which detracted the look of the place.

Poor

To are surprise and disappointment we had to pay extra €10 p.d for the air-condition which was NOT mentioned on website. Because the property is next to a river there are so many bitting insects. The mosquitoes wouldn't leave us alone. On are second day we even found a scorpion in the pool.

Fabulous

Owner was very helpful and hospitable and there straight away if anything was needed. Everything as described, a lovely pool and garden with sun beds, close to very rocky beach that is quite windy and has unclear water, but this is just how it is all the way along the coast. Sand beach at Lakki just up the road and beautiful beach (stoney) and swimming in crystal clear water at Aphrodite's bay just a short drive away. Car essential! Plenty of hot water, good kitchen, fridge, cooker, modern aircon, large sitting area and comfy beds (once we removed the plastic coated mattress protection which was much too hot to sleep on). Unspoilt area and town (Polis) with nice tavernas and enough tourism to not feel in the middle of no where. A long drive from both airports, but worth it if you value not being in a resort full of tourist crap. A good place for a family with or without kids and with a car.

No mosquito screens at all, which in an area with so many biting insects is really not acceptable. We had to pay on top for the aircon downstairs, (not for the bedrooms), which, as you couldn't open the doors or windows without letting in afore mentioned mosquitoes, is not great. Should be included in the house price. Cleaning only once a week is not enough at all, towels and sheets once a week is liveable with, but the toilet baskets (as you can't flush paper away) really need emptying daily. Low water pressure in the shpowres and blocked upstairs shower drain. Could have done with cleaning and fresh towels twice or three times a week, especially when staying with 5 or 6 people.
