About this house rental
Located in Sunset Beach, this attractive house for $1,040 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. DUE TO BILL 41 we are only allowed to rent one time in a 30 day period so our minimum bookings will be 30 days or longer. We have been waiting to remodel this home, but first the pandemic made it difficult with not being able to travel, and now the 90 day rule, so not sure when the remodel will take place. The wood floors need to be redone as they are scratched. The garage doors need to be replaced, but cannot do that until the remodel, so parking inside the garage is not an option. There are two parking spaces in front of the garage available for two regular size vehicles. Until the remodel is done, we have reduced the rate by over $200 a night. This 4 bed 2 1/2 bath home on the North shore has an amazing view of the beach and ocean. The 4th bedroom is a small rooftop room with a twin bed; this room gives you access to a huge rooftop deck that has amazing view of the most popular beaches on the north shore. The rental is comfortable and sleeps up to 9 in beds but has a large sectional sofa. This house is perfect for a large family or large group of friends wanting to enjoy the North Shore. The home is set in the most prime area on the North Shore conveniently located midway between Sunset and Waimea overlooking the most famous surf spots in the world. You will love the attention to comfort and hospitality in this home. Granite bar/counters in kitchen and master bath, vessel sinks, travertine shower with stand alone bath tub, all stainless appliances, a/c in two bedrooms & Living room. Private courtyard with barbecue, outdoor hot & cold shower, full size front loading washer and dryer. Your view of Off The Wall is amazing! Pipeline, Backdoor, Rock piles and Log Cabins is right out in front depending on which way you look. Lifeguards available next door during business hours. Fire Dept. is just down the street and responds immediately if necessary. Bonzai Skate Board Park is right across the street and there is nearby tennis, basketball, and golf at the Turtle Bay Resort. Ride bikes from out your gate onto the beautiful tropical bike path. Paddle board, surf board and water sport rentals available at a couple of locations nearby. Grocery store, gas station, some of the best swimming and snorkeling beaches on the North Shore during certain seasons, even catch a glimpse of whales, dolphins and swim with turtles right out in front during selected months. Rainbows are almost always a sure thing here. During the season the best surfing hands down goes on right out in plain view from your place. Come and enjoy! If you need more room there is an attached 1 bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom that is perfect for the large family reunion or large parties. You can rent the whole house for sleeping up to 13. Check out our 1 bedroom listing #4635089. There is NO Smoking of anything, NO Vapor, Cigarettes, Cigars, Marijuana, etc., allowed in the home or on the decks or patio. You may NOT smoke in the home or anywhere on the premises. If this rule is violated there will be a $500 fine and an additional cleaning fee to cover the cost of removing the smell. There are NO parties allowed. If you have a party there will be a $500 fine. There are no charging of electric vehicles on the property. We are not set up for this and do not want damage to our electrical system. Any violation will result in a $2000 fine plus any additional charges to repair the electrical damages.

We enjoyed a laid-back and relaxing stay at the Pupukea Outlook. It's a perfect location to all the North Shore beaches and Haleiwa.

We enjoyed coffee each morning on the 3rd level roof top...we saw whales al.ost everyday for a month right from the 3rd le numerous breaching of the humpback whales about 3 milestone just left of the long needle pine tree out front by the life guard station..

Great place to stay. Had all the amenities that we needed. Plenty of space for 9 of us. We enjoyed the roof top deck, impeccable views!! The location was perfect as there were so many unique places to eat and beaches in walking distance, as well as a pillbox hike. The downside would have to be lack of air conditioning in one of the main bedrooms. However, the number of fans available throughout the home made it survivable. Otherwise, we couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to come back!

Life saver!
Our original home we rented cancelled on us 2hrs before check in. So we were given a few to choose from and this one was perfect. Super cute and cozy and right on the beach. They knew about our situation and even let us check in early. Everything was there that you needed. Extra towels and linens to boogie boards. No phone reception unless you go outside but other than that it was perfect.

An Awesome House with Tons of Beds and the Most Amazing Location
Holy smokes! We had the best time staying at this property. 3 adults and 1 child spent a week having the best time ever on The North Shore. We actually said we should have invited more people because there was so much room. The location is next to none. Located right at Rock Piles and only steps from the sand and the water, with the skate park right across the street, we couldn't believe how close we were to everything we needed. Minutes away from Ted's Bakery, Foodland, and Pupukea Grill. Steps away from Rock Piles, Backdoor, Pipeline, Off the Wall, and even Ke Iki Beach, we loved being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The two car garage provided ample parking, and we were able to rinse off in the outdoor shower after every beach visit. The fans and A/C combo worked great to keep us nice and cool and we watched the sunrise, sunset, and starts in the middle of the night from the UNREAL viewing deck up top. TK was an amazing manager and texted/wrote back to any questions we had and made sure we had the best time ever. We had family dinners at the giant dinner table and watched hockey games and movies from the giant living room tv and huge couch at night with full cable provided. I can't recommend this house enough. I was tempted to write a bad review just so it will be available next time we want to book. The location and home are even better than the provided photos and I'm already trying to figure out when we can go back!

Overall good house. Pictures look nicer than reality. Property not so clean.
The good:
The best of the house is the location - it's just in front of the beach, and very close to the hottest surfing spots. Walking distance to some nice food wagons. The dining room is the best part of the house, because it's got a lot of space. There were lot's of kids stuff available for use (bodyboards, sand tools, etc.). Kitchen was nice.
The bad:
The terrace doesn't have any decent furniture to take advantage of it. The house wasn't well cleansed before we arrived. Beds besides the main room weren't too nice. The house feels old - from the pictures I thought it had been better maintained.

Comfortable
I have been a resident on Oahu for 15 years and had my family come stay for Christmas. I know how expensive the North Shore can be especially during peak times . We were offered a great price! Plenty of room , large dining room table which was great for Christmas dinner , great views. Appreciated the two car garage to park our cars and the many beach towels . The property manager was quick to respond when we had questions or needed help . Only down side was enormous puddle in front of property making it hard to walk back and forth to the beach , gets bigger and bigger the more it rains , we couldn’t find a broom in the house to help maintain sand on floors , one of the downstairs rooms doesn’t have AC , room was hot and ceiling fan made loud noises when on so turned that off to sleep but made it hot . Was without internet for a day and a half due to a power outage ( not anyone’s fault but the stormy weather) overall great stay . Would come again and recommend to friends :)

Lots of space and almost touching the beach
The property was great. We had a mix of families, so we were able to spread out and have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The property itself is super close to the beach and every time we went, we pretty much had the beach to ourselves - which just made it feel all the more luxurious. The owners were also great and responsive whenever we had questions. We will definitely try to stay here again :)

Perfect Family Hawaiian Vacation House!
This house was everything we could have hoped for in a vacation rental. The house was so spacious that we never felt confined and we all had our own space. The beds were so comfortable, the house was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to be able to cook meals. The location was one in its own, my favorite part was watching the surfers surf Pipeline and drinking my coffee from the top deck. It was a hard to say good bye to this house when we had to leave, even after two weeks, but we will be back!....and THIS is where we will be staying! A+++

Hawaiian Dream Home - Steps from the Sand
The location of this house is amazing! Literally steps from Rock Piles, and Banzai Pipeline Beach. My husband loves to surf so it was a great spot he could head out the door in the morning and my daughter and I could watch him from the rooftop. The house is the perfect beach house, full of Hawaiian charm. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My favorite spot of the house was the rooftop where we would go up every morning and night to watch the sunrises and sunsets. The beach directly in front of the house seems like your own private beach because most days we were the only ones there. There is also a lifeguard tower very close by so we felt safe swimming with the kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and BBQ, with Foodland (grocery store) just minutes down the road and then of course all the amazing restaurants in Haleiwa. We are hoping to make this a yearly trip to this exact location, you cannot beat the views!!!!

The house was OK - the pictures made it look nicer than it actually was. Needs updating.
I go to the North Shore about every other year and have always done a VRBO so I feel I have had many experiences with this. Overall I would not stay here again.
The positives:
- The interaction w/ owner and onsite caretaker was very good. Very responsive and professional. Many thanks for that.
- The location was good - central to all things North Shore.
- TVs in every bedroom was a nice bonus
- kitchen was nicely updated w/ granite and all the equipment you may need
- big couch was comfy and roomy
- master bathroom shower and tub were nice
-A/C in living room worked really well to cool the home
- garage was nice - but all homes I have rented have a garage so it’s not really a difference
The negatives (IMHO):
- the house, particularly the downstairs, needs major updating. It is rundown - especially the downstairs bathroom. Tub was stained, and simply old bathroom.
- there was a musty smell downstairs, particularly in laundry area - could not figure out what it was other than the home was older
- the shag carpet in master bedroom was very unappealing. Just felt dirty.
- overall cleanliness of the house, especially for the cleaning fee charged - was not up to my standard. Soap scum in bathrooms. Fridge upstairs wasn’t cleaned out. There’s a fridge in downstairs bedroom - not sure why - but that was very dirty.
- the fourth bedroom upstairs was not usable for sleeping - it felt like an oven in there no matter what we did. Fans,open windows, living room a/c could not cool it
- there is no usable outside space. The rooftop area is more like a concrete area. No furniture outside of two chairs. Really could not use it to relax
- the beach is nice, but, swimming area is not directly behind home - too much coral. Have to walk about 300 yards. Not horrible - but wanted to mention it
- the wooden floors need refinishing badly. It just made the house unappealing and feel dirty.
Perhaps my expectations were not set appropriately. I think for the price paid - I have stayed in much nicer homes. This one was larger home - however because the fourth bedroom wasn’t usable for us the size wasn’t an advantage. Unfortunately this home just didn’t meet my expectations.

Wonderful!
Ideal location: 7 Mile Miracle, Foodland, Sharks Cove. Well equipped and beautifully furnished/decorated. Our party of 8 had a wonderful stay: big kitchen, big dining table, lots of comfortable seating for gathering and lots of privacy too with bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors plus the little crow's nest on the 3rd floor - seized immediately by our teenager. So great having an interior laundry with new appliances. The double garage with remote is unusual and nice. Having Wifi is really helpful since cellular is iffy in the area. All communication about the property was quick, efficient, helpful and happy. We loved our stay.

GREAT location!
We had a blast and the house had everything we needed. The location was great and there was enough room for all of us to relax. I loved the roof top lookout, and Haleiwa is such a cute town. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to our friends and family. Thanks so much! We had a trip of a lifetime!

This house has everything, all the pots and pans for a big Christmas dinner, lots of clean towels, comfy beds, ac, irons, coffee maker, washer, dryer, everything you need. The view is great! The owner answers messages quickly. 5 stars.

Quiet family get away but close enough to get "stuff"
Lovely property 100 feet away from the beach was such a treat! Plenty of room for our group of 9 with the sounds of the waves singing through every open window. A well stocked kitchen, laundry room and open living space with quick and easy access to the local grocery store and glorious Haleiwa make this a fantastic family get away.
During our 7 days there we visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, snorkeled at Shark's Cove, walked the Waimea Valley, visited Honolulu twice (Pearl Harbor and Parasailing on Waikiki) and played for hours on the beach. The VANS Triple Crown of Surfing http://www.vanstriplecrownofsurfing.com/2017 was happening less than a mile down the beach and we even found the time to finish a 1000 piece puzzle as a family!!
If you're looking to spend some great family time with the opportunity to scatter as needed, this is the place for you! Loved it!
