We spent four days at Casa Beleza and loved the experience. Our room was part of a gorgeous house in the charming hilltop neighbourhood of Santa Teresa. The pool and tropical garden provided an oasis where we would wind down after busy days around Rio. Bindu and her family made us feel very welcome and were incredibly helpful during our stay. Bindu is amazing-- she helped us with everything from event tickets to taxi bookings and dinner reservations. She was even able to secure last-minute tickets to Sabado Das Campeas - the "Parade of Champions" on the Saturday after Carnaval-- the experience of a lifetime! We expressed interest in cultural context and Bindu provided us with fantastic background information, which made our experience even more meaningful. We also loved meeting Snoopy, the sweet family dog who once lived on the street and now watches the world go by from his perch overlooking Santa Teresa.

Peaceful and comfortable property in a beautiful neighborhood. Staff was very kind and made sure all of our needs were meet. Room and facilities were clean and spacious as well as the pool and yard. Breakfast was delicious and the owners very pleasant. Storage of our luggage was provide after check out and Taxi was arrange for our departure at the airport. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay.
Grocery stores are a bit far but you can always have food deliver to the property.
