This secluded Shangri La is the perfect spot for your proposal, wedding, honeymoon (or both) or your anniversary or birthday. We can arrange an airport pick up with a stop at the grocery store for a seamless arrival. It costs $75 paid direct to the provider which is about half price of a taxi pick up with a stop. Property is well situated though a short walk (8-10 min) to the beach/bars. Very close to Pangea, which is an outstanding restaurant. The property itself is lovely and the bed is super comfortable. Well furnished and very user friendly kitchen. We arranged a driver through the owner for pick up from the airport with a stop at the grocery store and return to the airport. He was super friendly and prompt with pick up and drop off. Overall a great experience!

The place was private and perfect for the two of us. It was clean. The communication was great! The owner was very informative not only about our place but places to go and things to do. Sapphire Beach is walking distance and it’s beautiful!!!

The perfect Villa for the perfect vacation!
My husband and I fell in love with St.Thomas. From beginning to end, Chris was the most informative and accommodating host. Our airport pickup and grocery stop was seamless and very convenient. The detailed check-in instructions made it stress free. Chris's Villa is beautiful, clean and well appointed. The private pool was the icing on top! We enjoyed Pangea on 62nd night (not only a wonderful dinner but a magical experience.) Quick walk to Sapphire Beach (my husband went snorkeling every morning.) Quick and easy taxi to Redhook, American Yaht Harbour, where we enjoyed quite a few lunches and dinners. The ferry to St. John was the perfect day trip. When we had issues with our departing flight, Chris jumped into action to facilitate our move to her other Villa. Again, beautiful, clean and well appointed.
We look forward to planning our next trip "on island", and calling Chris's Villa home.

Chris's place was great. Location was perfect. Short walk to Sapphire beach. Having a private pool was great especially after being on the beach all day.
Chris was super accommodating when our flight got cancelled and we had to stay an extra day.
We'll definitely bring returning for a future visit.

Property delivered from all angles. Privacy, Location, Relaxation. Nothing bad to say. My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Chris was very helpful with any questions and suggestions. We a rental car to get around in which was perfect. But the property is close to Red Hook and several beaches (Sapphire is special and neat. Coki is vibe). In my opinion this property is a little Gem, Perfect for couples.

We had a wonderful four nights. The condo was perfect… AC, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and nice shower. The private pool was the best feature. It was so hot during our stay, even the locals were saying it was hotter than normal. We were amazed at how cool the pool water stayed. We used it a lot. Sapphire Beach was amazing… beautiful beaches, bar. Amazing restaurant called Sea Salt. There is a coffee shop and clothing, souvenir shop as well. There is a Cabana bar and great pizza place too. The ferry dock is a short drive and taxis are Available at Sapphire Beach. We recommend going to St John to spend a day. Chris was a great host and answered any questions we had. She also sent us information about the area. Bernadette picked us up from the airport and stopped at the grocery store for us. She drove us back to the airport when we left. She is amazing and was extremely helpful during our stay. It was nice having her as a resource in an unfamiliar place! We loved our trip!

Our first time in St Thomas was welcomed by this awesome property with a gracious host, Chris. We spoke on the phone when we arrived and she gave us a run down of the amenities and areas around the rental, along with restaurant and activity recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the walkability to Sapphire Beach (and the awesome bar, restaurant and shop there). Highly recommend renting a vehicle so you can drive to Magens Bay. It was the most dreamy beach we have ever been to, definitely can’t miss that. Having the house to relax in was so wonderful, we enjoyed the nature scenery around and the quiet secluded feel. 10/10 recommend this rental and this amazing host. Thank you again Chris! We will be back one day for sure:)

This property is perfect for people who want a villa atmosphere, but also enjoy privacy. Its private pool is a must have for taking a break from site seeing and beach days.
It is a short walk to Sapphire Beach, where you can enjoy the ocean, get food/drink and souvenirs.
Chris, the property manager was amazingly friendly and encouraged us to contact her should we need anything or wanted help booking other activities. She helped us arrange transport to and from the airport to the villa, including a stop to the grocery store on arrival with Kishawn, who was remarkable!
We would definitely recommend this property.

Our stay here was short, but sweet! Christine provided a seamless checkin process and gave us several recommendations and tips for things to do and places to eat.
We loved being able to have both a bedroom and a living space to use. The pool is nice and private and we enjoyed our time at the quiet resort.
Pangaea is a great restaurant on the property that we enjoyed and there are several other resorts nearby, including Sapphire beach just a few minutes walk away.

Chris the owner was terrific. Gave us very detailed check in directions. In addition, Chris gave us good recommendations for dinner and beaches to visit. Location is very good, close to Sapphire beach, Lindquist beach and Red Hook.
Villa had everything you could need including beach chairs which came in handy. Dinner at Old Stone Farmhouse was excellent as was Dinner at Pangea which is right on property. We rented a car which I would also recommend although there is a taxi stand walking distance.

Booked for a week . . . Location is great, on the eastern less busy areas of the island, short easy walk to Sapphire Beach, quick ride to Red Hook where you can catch the people ferry to St John, eat at many local restaurants . . . The Villa was well equipped, pool was awesome, so relaxing after a day at the beach or just relaxing all day . . . Chris provided a wealth of information to make our getaway complete . . .

The bed was very comfortable and great water pressure in the shower (two things that are important to me). As noted clearly in the description, there is no oven. Hopefully you aren’t planning to bake brownies on vacation. This was not an issue for us.
I will say the path to Sapphire beach is not paved and those with mobility issues would need a car. That said, it’s a 5-7 minute walk and not a big deal.
Sapphire beach is nice but our experience is that it can get crowded depending upon how many cruise ships or tours are around. On our second day there we found a nice spot under a tree and was very enjoyable and not terribly crowded. Christine provides awesome beach chairs so you don’t need to rent them.
I highly recommend making a reservation for Pangea which is right at the entrance to the property. A wonderful meal in a tree house setting. We did not each at the Beach Bar which seems to have basic beach food but stops servicing around 5 pm I believe. Breakfast and coffee at Beach Buzz was good.
If you don’t have a car there is easy taxi access either by phone or at the taxi stand by the beach bar. It’s very close to Red Hook and other fine restaurants in that area.
Understandably, Christine has asked that the A/C not be set too low in either the bed room or living room. So if you like sleeping in an ice box, you may be disappointed. There are ceiling fans in each room to help.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

Christine’s villa was the perfect spot for a long holiday weekend! We were in a great location close to the fun of Red Hook (restaurants/bars/water activities) but not far from the other beaches St Thomas has to offer. The parking at Pavillions and Pools was ample and the restaurants on/near site, Pangea and Sapphire Beach Bar, were two of our favorites. Christine recommended renting a car and we’re so glad we did. We can’t think of a bad thing to say about our villa or our trip, it was hard to leave! Thanks again to Christine and the wonderful staff who made our time in the USVI so enjoyable :)

This was an excellent property. Close to the beach, short walk, but still has a feeling of being secluded. The pool was my selling point, but having a fridge and stove to cook...a bonus I didnt know I needed or wanted. We were able to swim whenever we wanted and without crowds, its a private oasis!!!
Chris was amazing! Making sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. Checkin up and brining batteries to us. Reaching out to ensure we were okay. When she was unable to reach us. She went above and beyond.
I recommend to any and all, have your own private oasis in paradise.

My wife and I have been staying in these villas for 8 years. We really enjoy the private pool, and the convenience of being able to walk to Saphire Beach. Just a 5 minute taxi to Red Hook, and the St John Ferry.

Chris was an excellent host. She had excellent recommendations on where to go and where to eat. This property is a short walk behind the Pangea Restaurant (which we ate at one night that was delicious. Just bring bug spray if you are prone to getting bit by mosquitos.)
The house was quaint and cute and enjoyed the pool after the days of being in the hot sun. The kitchen has everything you need. Moe's grocery store in Red Hook is five minutes away and sells liquor and beer. We enjoyed being so close to Red Hook and Sapphire Beach, which has The Beach Bar and Beach Buzz for coffee and breakfast eaters.
Although the living room and bedroom both have AC units, we did get a little warm. Chris has restrictions on the living room not being below 75 degrees F and the bedroom being between 25-27 degrees C. This is something I think should be disclosed prior to booking because I have trouble sleeping when warm. Chris and I spoke about this and she informed me that anything lower would lock up the units and could ruin them because of how hot it gets on the Island and humidity.
All in all, we would stay again. ❤️ Thank you, Chris for allowing us to book your property.

Chris was pleasant to communicate with, however, we feel that the photos and description of the property are misleading. It was dated and in need of some TLC. Patio furniture had tears and was not what was shown in the photos. There was no gas in the grill. The owner told us we could purchase it and she would repay us but if we are on vacation, we felt that this should be something that was already taken care of in advance. The closet doors don’t stay on the track and do not close properly. The bathroom is nicely done and is the best feature of the unit. There are a number of extension cords hanging from the wall in the bedroom and the wall plugs need to be replaced as we noticed when our phones didn’t charge.
As far as the location, there is no direct path to the beach. It is through the neighboring gravel road which is really dark at night in which you go through a gate by a soccer field and then a parking lot to get to Sapphire Beach Resort.
The overall condominium complex is in need of maintenance. It looks rundown. The laundry machine was out of order as well.
In addition, the view featured from the pool is not what you see. It is overgrown with trees and bushes and trash on the ground. You could maybe see the view in the online posting if you stood on a chair.
The pool is nice but there are tiles missing. The walkway shown against the back wall by the pool in the photo which is tiled has been replaced by a gray wooden decking.
For a relatively low investment, this property could be gorgeous. For the cost to stay at this property, it was disappointing.
