A really nice clean little apartment with great views (lots of stairs) in a very central location.

Clean and comfortable with a central position. Quiet with a nice terrace area and views. Great for a quick stay.

Despite the directions it was hard to find. A local contact (phone didn't answer) some signage in the ground floor area or a simple map in the email message would be make a difference.

I’ve traveled the world, and this was our worst hotel experience.

Nothing

Everything. The room was hard to find; when we contacted staff for assistance, they were very rude; and the room furnishings were in poor condition.

Very good

Room was beautifully decorated and really good size. Had everything we needed and in an exceptional location in the city centre with view of the bell tower.

The bathroom was quite smelly due to the drains and didn't seem very clean. The host was ok.

Dreadful

Nothing.

No verbal communication with the host. Accom is in a unpleasent part within the walls. Poorly light and would be described as "spooky"! Entrance dreadful! 6 flights of wooden stairs with handrails in part missing. Key safe difficult to open. Very small room. Not suitable for people with disabilities or elderly.

Great location within the old town walls near transport. Fairly basic, but decent for a short stay

Good location as in the old town and not far from the taxi stand and marina, comfortable beds, shower was hot, nice window view and terrace view

Room was not clean when I arrived, so had to go out for a while until the cleaners came and sorted the room. The stairs didn't bother us as we only had hand luggage, but I wouldn't recommend for those on a longer stay with heavy luggage. Rooms were fine but not a lot of additional space if you are looking for somewhere to spend time relaxing.

Little Gem

Stayed for a week and the room had everything we needed for a fabulous stay, great attention to detail. The view from the window of the tower was amazing and the balcony was perfect and extremely accessible. The location for exploring Diocltians palace and Split could not have been any better - great value for money.

Tricky to find initially but really easy when you know how!

Superb

All you could need for a quick stay. Good aircon, shower etc. Just be aware that Google Maps has a hard time finding this place as the Diocletians Palace is a bit of a maze.

Just be aware there is no lift and a bunch of stairs to get up to the apartment 😅

Great location in old town. Close to the port and the airport shuttle bus.

Difficult to check in. Host would not answer phone to provide check in details. Also tricky to find. Four flights of stairs and our room was only accessible via an outdoor balcony.

Pretty good

Bed was comfortable, hairdryer provided, able to check in at 12 instead of 2pm.

Hard to sleep at night with noise from port- very noisy. Also hard to sleep as air con was too cold but without it it was too hot. The doors of the property were hard to lock.

Exceptional

It was completely perfect! Perfect room, we was a bit early and it wasn’t any problem for us to get the room earlier. The location was great, near to the boat, old town, great restaurants, and to the beach. We was very satisfied with the room and next time we go to split, this is our first option where to stay!

Room good but no help!

Great position with good views although hard to find even with google maps. Room clean and comfortable bed.

No one came to help. 6 flights of stairs so do not recommend for anyone with luggage. Rang the number during check in but no one answered until well after. Check out was just as bad even though I had asked for help when I checked in and left other messages. there are also no lights in stairwell at night and it is pitch black so extremely difficult to navigate 6 flights of stairs. Bathroom very small.

Room was clean and bed comfotable. The view from the window is pretty.

This room is in the old city. It should be made clear that there are very many steps to get there and it is confusing to find. Do not come here with lots of luggage or if you are old. The fridge was not working so the beer and glass of wine that we were looking forward to on the terrace did not happen. Poor show. Owner was not interested in fixing this. Also it is very noisy from the bars across the road. Only gets quite after 1 am.

Clean. Absolute best location for a reasonable price. Split is amazing!

Room was clean and outdoor area was great of an evening. Location, once you knew where it was, is the best place you can be.

There was only one lot of coffee. We stayed for 3 nights, so ideally could of done with enough coffee for the 3 days

Location was fab, set in palace walls, close to Riva. Cool with air conditioning, clean. Bed comfy.

Apartment acces via stairs only. 6 flights of stairs! Need a lift fitting.

Initially finding the place was a challenge, but after that the stay was pleasant.

The location within the palace was great. So close to everything and beautiful views right outside.

Initially finding the place was difficult - the directions could have been a bit more detailed. Once we eventually found our way, the entrance was definitely not inviting. We questioned whether or not it was even the right place as there was little to no signage and it was pitch black in the entrance hallway and the stairwell.

Great location, poor room

The location is great - you are right in the historical centre of Split. You can easily see the Bell Tower from the room which was great and it's very easy to walk to all the major sites.

The listing felt misleading. We booked this room instead of others because it said there was a balcony. However, the balcony is NOT in the room, but a shared balcony for the entire apartment building and is located on the other side of the building. We would have preferred that this was clearly stated in the listing rather than believing it was part of the room. The photos of the listing looked great but the reality was less than desired. The provided towels had what looked like ash on them, the bedding looked dirty and overall the room was much more tired than expected. We also weren't aware there was construction directly outside the building. That means that one of the windows is obstructed by scaffolding and the construction would start at 7am (jackhammers, sawing, etc)

super clean, central and cozy!

11 out of 10! Clean, central, cozy. I stayed 2 nights. Bed with new matress, super clean, kitchen extremely well equipped. The only thing: its a shared terrace and there are clubs/restaurants nearby that make it little noisy (but its not the appartments fault!), but not too much. I would go there again. thanks for this wunderful stay!

Historic on the outside, Modern and Stylish on the inside.

Modern, very stylish and comfortable apartment tucked in the ancient palace walls. The location was superb and we loved the terrace/balcony. Views are amazing!

Maybe it was us...but a little tricky to find at first. I think Google maps led us astray. And unit was on 3rd floor w/no elevator. But if you're fit - don't let this dissuade you - this apt is a gem!

Great view!

Perfect location and the view from the bedroom was amazing, everything was spot clean. Great place! It even has a small terrace to view the city.
