Galazio Beach Resort

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional family stay – outstanding for gluten-free guests We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at Galazio Beach Hotel as a family and genuinely couldn’t fault our stay. We travelled with our two teenage boys, aged 15 and 18, and it was a brilliant choice for a family with older children. We had a swim-up pool room, which was absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean and extremely well looked after throughout our stay. Having direct access to the pool was fantastic, particularly with two teenage boys, and the pool itself is incredible. The whole hotel has a lovely, peaceful and high-quality feel, with extremely comfortable beds and wonderful views. A particular highlight, and something that really made our holiday, was the incredible care taken over gluten-free food. My wife Tara is coeliac, so having complete confidence in what she can eat when travelling is incredibly important. The choice available at breakfast was extensive and the staff’s knowledge and understanding of gluten-free requirements was outstanding. She never felt as though she was getting a limited or second-best option — quite the opposite. We especially want to mention Josef and his fantastic breakfast team. Josef was incredible throughout our stay: attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. He took the time to explain what was suitable, made sure Tara was completely looked after and genuinely cared. The quality and choice at breakfast were excellent and his team were brilliant every morning. Iona was also fantastic as part of the waiting team, always friendly, attentive and welcoming and another person who really added to our experience. We also have to mention Poppy and Anastasia on reception, who were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. What really stands out about the team at Galazio is that they care.

The only area we feel could be improved is the gym. For a hotel of this quality, we think it would be a worthwhile investment to bring the gym up to the same excellent standard as the rest of the hotel. The air-conditioning could be more effective, particularly when exercising, and on a few occasions there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke, possibly coming from a nearby staff rest or waiting area. A few simple additions, such as a good selection of resistance bands and some additional functional training equipment, would also make a real difference. There seemed to be plenty of guests wanting to keep fit and active during their stay, so we think an improved gym would be very well used. Overall, only a small point within what was otherwise an exceptional stay.

A boutique hotel, perfect in every way for a relaxing getaway in a coastal countryside setting. We especially enjoyed the warm hospitality of the entire team—the front desk staff, waiters, bartenders, and housekeeping. As a family of five, we have never felt so welcome and safe at a resort. In fact, saying goodbye to the lovely Anastasia and Popi with warm hugs felt like leaving family. Highly recommended from the bottom of our hearts!

this hotel is amazing , great location , great front beachbar ( that belong to the hotel). the breakfast was super ! and the stuff people are really nice the pool is very clean. alot of games for the kids

this is not a 4 starts hotel. A 4 star hotel I expect there to be shampoo and conditioner in the shower and hand soap these are very basic things. we had to go to the share WC at the pool in order to wash our hands. the rooms ( triple) has no PRIVATE TERRESA as showed at the pictures . its 3 rooms with 1 shared balcony. The design of the rooms is designed to save electricity, therefore the entrance door of the room is entirely made of glass (non-transparent) and the curtains are semi-transparent in order for light to enter. The result is that there is no darkness in the room!! Not at night and not at all during the day. We were with an 8-month-old baby and when he wanted to take a nap, we couldn't darken the room! I have never encountered such a situation where it is impossible to darken the room in order to sleep. also at night the light from the rest of the rooms balcony is going direct to the room . so its make it difficulty to go sleep ( the room was super light and bright ) In addition, there is no privacy since the balcony is shared with 2 other rooms in addition to ours and the door and window face the balcony. After I asked, the staff came and helped put up curtains in order to try darken the room. also we arrived at 11:00 at night from the airport , we tried to take a shower and there was no hot water. we tried at the morning and still there was not hot water . after i have complaint they told me that the water is getting hit only from the sun and probably all rest of the rooms use the whole hot water . 4 starts hotel ? im depending the sun ?
