Great friendly host who welcomed us on a very hot day with cold water and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Lovely old house and beautiful gardens. Amazing breakfast of fruits from the garden and homemade yoghurt, breads and jams.

This review is specifically for the chalet adjacent to the main house. Many reviews refer to the main house itself, which I did not stay in and therefore cannot comment on.
The host was exceptional: friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating when our arrival was delayed. Communication was excellent, and we appreciated the flexibility shown regarding our late check-in.
We stayed for one night in a chalet adjacent to the main house. While the accommodation was clean and adequate for a short stay, it was extremely small and, in our opinion, significantly overpriced for what was offered, particularly given the remote location and the fact that we stayed during the off-season.
The chalet lacked basic living space, with no room for a table to sit and eat comfortably, and very limited facilities such as cutlery. The bathroom was exceptionally cramped; two people could not use the space at the same time, and the shower cubicle was so small that it was difficult to move around without standing completely upright.
Overall, the accommodation itself did not match the price charged. Had the cost been more reflective of the size, facilities, and location, our rating would have been considerably higher. The excellent host experience was the main positive aspect of our stay.
