Staff were amazing, beautiful house
Beach - my husband and daughter are both triathletes so we’re looking forward to lots of open water swimming. Current was too strong so didn’t get any

Courteous staff - staff on site was very friendly and attentive to all our needs, coming up with recommendations on nearby things to do and restaurants etc. Very good team.
On arrival the staff wasn’t sure how to take payment via EFTPOS machine. The payment didn’t progress on my ANZ card from Australia as they kept selecting USD option. Thanks to my brother who’s in the hotel industry who advised them to use LKR option after which it worked. Until then, the manager insisted that my card was flawed. Kept sending WhatsApp messages saying ‘our machine is fine - please contact the owner’Caused a bit of unrest on arrival. Think the staff could be a bit more proficient and be aware of curtain restrictions on the use of USD in SL
