모든 스텝들이 모두 친절하고, 가족처럼 모든 요구사항에 귀를 기울여줌. 사막 사파리를 숙소에서 바로 알선해주어 아주 저렴하고 멋진 체험을 하였음. 루프탑 식당에서는 한국음식과 인도 음식을 골고루 먹을 수 있어서 좋았음. 요새도 산책하기에 딱 알맞은 곳에 위치하여 아침 저녁으로 산책할수 있었고 시장이 가까워 과일과 필요한 물건을 사기에도 편리함. 공항 픽업을 미리 부탁하면 툭툭이, 또는 택시 모두 합리적인 요금으로 마련해 주어 편리했음. 필요한 서류도 부탁했더니 친절히 프림트 해 주어 유익했음. 사암으로 지어진 건물 자체가 매우 인상적이고 내부를 장식한 자이살메르 특산품인 텍스타일과 패브릭이 인상적이어서 나도 많이 사오게 됨. 루프탑은 창문이 없어서 시원하고 탁트인 전경응 볼 수 있고 매우 한가로윰을 느꼈으나 오늘 처럼 안개가 자욱한 날은 차갑고 습해서 오래 머무르지는 못했음. 하지만, 날씨의 이모저모를 한껏 느꼈으며 가성비 갑인 호텔임. 사막 체험때는 무료로 짐을 맡겨둘 수 있었고 따로 예약이 없으면 무료로 그 방에 그대로 놔두고 사막 사파리를 갔다 올 수 있었음. 그리고 마지막으로 사파리 체럼애서 팀장 로사(Rosa) 는 매우 쾌활하고 열정적이며 솔직하고 진취적이어서 함께 있는 동안 즐거운 리더역할을 함. 자이살메르는 잔형적인 인도를 경험하게 해주었고 별로 사교적아지 않은 나도 친구를 그새 두어명 만들고 떠날만큼 인도 사람들운 쾌활하고 재미있음. 다만, 소똥과 소음에 익숙해 지지 않는 다는 점은 감안해야 함.

호텔에 타월이 낡았으며, 샤워기의 뮬줄기가 직각으로 떨어져서 서서 샤워하기가 힘들었지만 물은 따듯하고 충분했으며 가성비를 따지자면 문제없음.

Excellent stay and best camel safari 🐫

beautiful view from the cozy roof terrace to the Ford, which can be reached in 5-10 minutes on foot. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are all new. On the roof terrace you could order coffee, tea, drinks and small dishes, everything was very tasty. Opposite there is an attached Roof Top restaurant with excellent cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. on our request they organized an exclusive 2 days camel tour just for us both in a remote desert section. Ask for camel guide salim. He is super nice and cooks great. Back at the guesthouse I was surprised by all the staff of the house late in the evening with cakes and singing for my birthday. It was really a very touching stay. Thanks once again to the whole staff! We will definitely be back soon

Amazing hostel great safari

Staff were unbelievably kind and friendly, a true benefit of being in the hostel community! They were super accommodating too for our early arrival. Superbly located for walking to the lake and up to the Fort, past lots of great shops and cafes too. Rooms are comfy and quiet with good AC. We stayed in the private room and the value for money is exceptional.

Our stay un Fotiya hostel was very pleasent. They pick us up at the station without charging anything and they let us do the checking earlier than the specified time. The room was very clean and the staff is very kind. We definitely recommend this place!

amazing stay in jaisalmer

place that you feel home. Everything in the hotel is new, good location with the best view of the Fort from their roof top. The guys who run the hotel are just super friendly and helpful with whatever you need. They got us bus ticket.. Loundry and the desert tour what was amazing! They have a restaurant also and food is very good and best staffs. We had an amazing and stay and I am sure we had make friends there for ever. We will be back on day for sure!

The staff is very nice and helpful. Specially Ali. They picked us up at the station train for free, and later they dropped us too. There's a rooftop where you can stay and relax. They also have a restaurant whith good food. The hotel's relation quality-price is very good.

It has been the cleanest hotel in India so far!! Rooms are big and spacious for a very effortable price. The staff is extremely helpful and they have a drop off pick up service for free which made everything much easier!! We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is great and the staff is extremely helpful. They help you with everything. Over all great experience of desert with hotel shahiraj jaisalmer. I had the opportunity to enjoy an incredible experience on the camel safari they offer, making my stay even more enjoyable. Had open jeep safari to desert and inside the desert.

Friendliest and most helpful staff! Free pick up from the train station, delicious rooftop restaurant with a great atmosphere, comfortable and clean rooms, took my friend to the hospital for free as she had an injury, allowed us to use a room to shower in after our camel safari free of charge. I highly recommend going through this hotel for organising a camel safari (ask if Simon/Suban will be your guide, he's the best!) and just make sure you discuss what's included so you don't go unprepared or with false expectations.

Awesome hotel in Jaisalmer. Would totally recommend. The owners are so nice and caring. They came and picked me up at the bus stop in middle of the night. Offer some tea. The safari with them was great and the guide also Nice. Such a cheap price its hard to believe it was this nice. 100% recommen

Excellent stay in jaisalmer

If there has been a higher level than 5 star, I would have given them it. It is really amazing to stay here. 5* for service: Free pickup, extremely helpful, friendly and attentive staff. Narsi and the hotel owner answered all my questions about city, culture, custom and travel tips, helped us a lots always with a smile on their face, even when I asked about the Queen Harish show which has been no longer provided or asked for the hot water at late night. 5* for food: massive menus in both Indian and Korean styles. Food is fresh, high quality, rich taste, provided with free side dishes (kimchee, cucumber, fries). Bibimbap are highly recommended. 5* for tours: it is optional for you to join their tours but I recommended. It took me 30 minutes to consider their offers, then I found out it totally worth. I went on a dessert tour to see Camel festival in combination with camel riding, sunset seeing, overnight Safari and sunrise in Sam dunes. It is perfect experience. Food was provided generously, camping tent for just 2-3 people, sleeping bags and blankets kept me warm and have a good sleep for the whole night, even they had a dog to cheer tourists up and prevent any other animals on dessert at night. I was told that the tour guide was born in dessert so he seems to know everything If I come back to Jaisamer, Fotiya is absolutely my choice.

I can recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit a camel safari in Jaisalmer. They took us from the hotel (4 people) to desert out of big oasis with only two guides, who made us dinner, prepare everything for sleep etc. - it was so calm, pleasant and camel guys were absolutely professional. Also hotel staff is amazing. Pick up from bus station was without problem even when we arrived almost two hours late. After check out they have left our bags in another hotel room which was still ready for us to use it (without extra money). Besides this there is a very good restaurant on the roof top with delicious korean (but indian also) food.

AC does not work, problems with hot water and electricity in the room.

It's the only hotel that I didn't use a sleeping bag while traveling to India. Especially, Fotiya and staffs were kind, so I could stay comfortably. Thanks to this hotel, I stayed in Jaisalmer longer than planned. I hope I can come back to India to visit this hotel again.

comfy hotel within walking distance of fort

-Ali & the staff at Fotiya were extremely accommodating to my husband and me throughout our 4 night stay. Ali arranged for a tuk tuk to pick us up at the train station early in the morning (2 am) when the train arrived. -comfortable large bed -we were able to change rooms to a larger one with bay window sitting area when it became available : ) -we ate breakfast and dinner each day at the restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel. Indian, western, and Korean options were available at reasonable prices. Each dish we had was well prepared and tasty!

Stayed 3 nights at the Portiya Hotel with the kids. The whole family had an upset stomach while traveling in India, but they recovered while eating delicious Korean food at this rooftop restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable (especially the terrace seating makes you want to sit here all day) and all the staff are friendly and sincere. Bibim noodles, white soup, soybean paste stew, kimchi stew, seaweed soup... I ate the most delicious Korean food during my long trip. If I come back to Jaisalmer, I will come here!

Our stay at Hotel Fotiya was excellent! The rooms were great and the bed really comfortable. But what stood out the most was the people. So kind and helpful staff! Thats why we decided to do our desert safari with them. They offer different camel safaris. From standard to deep desert safari. We decided to do the deep desert safari and had a wonderful time. Worth the premium. It felt very authentic with NO other tourists around. We slept under stars and visited the remote village of our camel guide. For dinner they prepared delicious food, freshly prepared on the open fire. I recommend everyone to come here when visiting Jaisalmer and Thar Desert.
