The most serene location I have ever stayed in. The building itself is perfect for the site, it maximises the site, and has everything you need and nothing you don't. We felt instantly at peace when we arrived and just sat and felt grateful for where we were. We are used to living in a lovely location with wildlife around, however, we came away inspired to go more minimalist and increase our number of solar panels. Just brilliant in all respects - we would sincerely love to stay again next time we visit Freycinet.
This is very very minor but one of the kitchen drawers was a very tight fit and got stuck.

Lovely house. Great kitchen with everything you need. Lots of extras including a bottle of fizz in the fridge. Lots of inquisitive wildlife too
Even though the fire worked well, the house was very cold, especially the bedroom and bathroom. The area where the bath is outside is pitch black and it’s hard to see what you are doing. Bathrobes would be a great idea for when you get out of the bath

Very architectural. Great response from owners and staff.
When we booked we looked at the photos of beaches, sand dunes, activities listed on the property listing. Due to lack of car rentals available in Tasmania at the moment we were dropped off at the property 2km up a dirt track and pretty much stranded there! No wifi for first day (sorted quickly though 🙏) I just think if you book this property you must know it is extremely isolated and nothing in walking distance Norhing!! We were very disappointed as we thought we had booked a house with access to beach walks. The house is beautiful though. The owners extremely helpful 🙏
