The price is competitive in the area. Staff is friendly. Nice house with big living room and kitchen. Refrigerator, microwave oven are available.
The dorm beds don't have curtains, it would be nice to have curtain for better privacy, especially the dorm is mix for both males and females.

The Guesthouse is very nice, very close to Yubatake and Otaki-no-yu. The owner is very friendly and gave me a short tour of the guesthouse.
The check in/check out process is easy. For check out you can just drop the key in a letterbox, so it is really hassle-free.
The dorm is very comfortable, very quiet. Each bed have a few power points, a fan, and locker.
There is a common room, a dining room with amenities such as a microwave and fridge, toilets, laundry service, as well as showers. No sento/onsen, but there are plenty of other places around.
Just a fair warning, even though it is very close to Yubatake and Otaki-no-yu, the way to the Guesthouse requires quite a steep climb. If you are okay with that then it is a perfect place to stay!
There are no privacy between the beds, but as a guy it doesn’t matter to me.

The lady was really nice, the location as well.
I couldn't sleep, I didn't like the smell.
