The air conditioner turned on every 5 minutes, was very loud, and kept me awake. The bed in the main bedroom was not set up properly and moved side to side like a teeter totter every time I rolled over. I thought it was going to flip when I woke up in the morning and tried to get up. There was only hot water for about 5 minutes when I showered, so I finished my shower both days with almost cold water. The floor was uneven between the kitchen and living. It was a step up (that was fine) but the step was rounded and angled down, which made it a hazard if you didn't step carefully. For the amount of money I spent, I shouldn't have had to clean before I left. And when I arrived, as they obviously do not clean themselves between people. I don't typically write reviews. If I had booked for longer than just 2 nights to attend a wedding, this place would have been awful.

Owners are doing a great job. Property was set up like a campground. Kids could do lots of activities and you could always see them. Cabin was great, grandkids loved the welcome basket. Will return for another stay 👍👍👍

I am very torn in writing this review. The property is very nice with access to the water and a small beach, but there were some disappointing things as well. Here's the good: Location is great. Close to local attractions, great outdoor amenities (small beach, on the water, boat access, canoe, kayaks, fish cleaning shed, outdoor grills, and picnic tables). Beds were pretty comfy and had bug/allergen covers on them, which was a nice touch. They left a little welcome basket with snacks for us, which was very nice. The price is good for the area. The not so good: The description of this unit (Bungalow) on the website isn't really accurate. It states 3 bedrooms, but there are actually 2 bedrooms and a futon in the living room. This may be an issue with Vrbo, since the longer description notes 2 bedrooms, but I wasn't able to see that when I initially booked. Unit does sleep 7, one bedroom has a bunk bed above the full size bed. There are no towels for the restroom. Bring your own. The kitchen pots and pans selection is pretty sparse and they don't have good outdoor tools for the grill, the ones they do have are just really kitchen utensils that we used on the grill. The most frustrating part was the cleanliness. There were a lot of spider webs that appeared to be there for a long time and the fridge was definitely not cleaned before we got there, it was full of crumbs. The grill outside was filthy and reeked of fish, but at least there was a scraper to clean before we used it. I'm not sure if we'll stay there again, but if we do we'll need to pack much more than we anticipated for a fully stocked cabin. Also, I'd recommend extra garbage bags, paper towel, and hand soap as they will not be replenished during the stay.
