The location was excellent. I had a wonderful view of the Shannon river.
The hotel car park is very small but there is pay and display parking available immediately outside the hotel with reasonable rates. I paid €5 for 24 hours.

A lovely room for a solo traveler. A BATHTUB! So welcome after a long drive. The dining room served a very nice meal. Breakfast was just right. A perfect full Irish. The most positive comments are for the staff; attentive, focused, pleasant. They could not have been more helpful.
Just a slight comment; the windows were open at check in which was nice, but logistically, the bathroom window was difficult to reach. No bother. I found a volunteer.

Breakfast was really good and the staff were lovely and friendly and helpful
The cleanliness in the hotel bedroom was very poor .The welcome book had a stain on the cover. There was no mattress protector on the bed .The fitting sheet was badly stained.I found the mattress protector in the wardrobe and left it out for the staff who serviced the room on our second day to put it on the bed, but unfortunately it remained in the bag.The throw was badly strained aswell.
