Located in West Cape May, this charming house for $270 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Walk to the Cove and Broadway Beach, Washington Square Mall, West Cape May's BYO restaurants and the promenade in this private home in the historic district of Cape May. Relax and BBQ under the shaded pergola in the fenced-in backyard, perfect for children, watch the horse carriage pass by, or watch movies and games on a rainy day. Great for traveling with the grandparents or another family! The Cape May Cottage is just a few blocks from The Cove and Broadway Street Beach. The Cove is a beach for all seasons that draws swimmers, kayakers, and surfers in sultry weather; beachcombers, birders, and surf anglers arrive during the cooler months. The gray-sand beach has been a popular seaside retreat since Victorian days. Broadway Street Beach is fantastic and has a snack bar. The home has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and two full bathrooms. There are two bedrooms on each floor. Sleeps 8 comfortably, with plenty of off-street parking for 4 cars. There are TVs in every room! The stairs can be closed off both upstairs and downstairs, so great for small children. There is also a cot and pack and play on the property. Outdoor shower with hot water, 8 seasonal beach tags, 8 beach chairs, umbrella, cart, and sand toys are all ALREADY at the property. Fantastic location, park the car and walk to everything, including Congress Hall, Washington Square Mall, Rusty Nail, West Cape May, and tons of restaurants, bars, and stores. Enjoy Cape May's numerous wineries, Cape May Winery and Willow Creek Winery are very close, with Turdo, Hawk Haven and Jesse Creek close as well. Cape May Brewery is also a very popular attraction, as well as the Cape May Zoo, Naughty Spirits Distillery, and Cape Square Entertainment in Rio Grande which boasts an arcade, bowling alley, movie theater and bar.

Great spot in Cape May!
We had a great week at this property and found it very comfortable for four kids and three adults. It is clear that the owners have been working hard to improve the house and make it even better both inside and outside. It is in a PERFECT location, we could have made it through the whole week without using our car once if we had wanted. We all loved being so close to the beach, Washington Square, pizza, ice cream, even CVS and the Acme. We would absolutely stay here again, thanks so much!

Great Family Trip
We had a great time! The house was the perfect size and in a great location. Walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. The backyard was awesome for chilling out after a busy day. We definitely would stay there again.

I had a great stay here. When I say “exactly as advertised“, I mean it as a compliment. There were some nice surprises as well… The beach chairs and bikes were practically brand new, and I always appreciate the extra courtesy when the owner supplies beach tags. I will absolutely come back.

Great family vacation
This house is in a wonderful location in Cape May. We enjoyed the surrounding restaurants and neighborhood, esp Key West Tacos. It is a nice walk to the beach, Cove Beach was particularly fun for the little kids. The house has great space, the bedrooms upstairs has nice privacy for extended family and a comfortable kitche. We were happy to find the movies, video games, and board games on a rainy day! The outside yard was perfect for an evening drink, the shed was stocked with beach chairs, toys etc. Overall a great stay! We cant thank Ryan enough for his Cape May travel tips as well as his responsiveness!

The location was great! The Italian Restaurant across the street was pretty wonderful too!
We liked the area, only a few blocks from the beach! West End Garage is just around the corner and a great place to shop. Breakfast restaurant and wonderful Italian Restaurant across the street. The houses in the area are lovely, it was really nice walking the neighborhood.
The only complaint I have is , the kitchen table was sticky😬. It just didn’t feel clean, even after we scrubbed it. Other than that, the house was great.

Charming home close to the beach
Conveniently located a few blocks from the beach, Washington Street mall and several restaurants and CVS available in walking distance. Loved the back yard with the pergola and beach supplies. Perfect for two families wanting a beach house getaway in Cape May.

The house is located within walking distance to restaurants, beach and pedestrian shopping mall. I loved the convenience of having off street parking.

Amazing location, everything you need to enjoy Cape May
Loved having the beach tags, bikes, corn hole, backyard,. grill, etc... Can't beat the location with great shops and food all around you. Plus, walk to the beach or go for a jog to the lighthouse. Owners were great and responsive to emails. Will be back next year!

Beautiful House, Perfect Location
Four adults, two teenagers and one four-year-old shared this rental for a week and could not have been happier with the owner or home.
Ryan was incredibly responsive and helpful from check-in to a couple of questions while we were in the house. It's in a great location - literally a seven-minute walk to the beach and 10 mins to the shopping area along Washington St. Plenty of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options and also easy to get into the beachy shops/food area.
The house was roomy for our seven and is well-stocked (including beach tags!) with cleaning supplies, plates, utensils, grill supplies, beach chairs, beach carts, beach umbrella and some charcoal for the grill, etc. There were TVs in all the rooms (helped w/the kids) and a nice selection of DVDs in the main room. We didn't watch much TV, but nice to have the options.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. When we plan a return trip to Cape May, this house will be at the top of our list.

Great spot for our long weekend!
We had a great stay here in Cape May. The house was a great fit for our family, and accurate to description and photos. The back yard and pergola is a great outdoor space for summer nights, and close enough to downtown but far enough that the noise isn’t an issue. The complimentary bottle of wine was a welcoming touch!

Loved our stay at this house in Cape May. The place has plenty of rooms for guests, great entertainment options and a fantastic backyard for hanging out and grilling. The location was excellent as it is only a short walk to Congress Hall and it also has plenty of great food options close by. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Cape May!

Great place!
We had a wonderful time. The house is in a great location, close to restaurants, several blocks from the beach, and easy access to grocery stores, downtown shops, etc. Ryan's place is clean and comfortable. While the house has window a/c units, the back of the house where the kitchen is and the master bath was quite warm. It is too bad the house is not centrally air conditioned. However, we were comfortable most of the time. Will definitely stay here again.

The house is a few blocks from the beach - my young children were able to make the walk just fine.

Great family place!
We stayed at this house for one week in August. The location is PERFECT. We had never stayed near West Cape May before and we took full advantage of all of the great restaurants nearby. It is a short 5ish minute straight walk to the beach (and the owner provides a cart and a wagon). It is a quick few minutes walking to get to the center of town and super easy. We fell in love with the Cape May Market and went there for breakfast almost every day (right around the corner). The backyard in cute with an outdoor table and grill, plus a great outdoor shower. The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics you need for cooking. The house is clean and comfy. My only very small and picky complaint was that one of the air conditioner units was really loud and probably needs to be replaced but otherwise we would definitely stay here again. The owner was also really accomodating and friendly.

Great location to beach, restaurants and shops
This is our second year staying at this property. It is only 4 blocks to the beach and is close to 3 great restaurants. It is a short walk or bike ride to town, and a short bike ride to the Point. The bedrooms are roomy and well appointed. The backyard has a large table that seats 8 and the yard is big enough for yard games. The driveway can park 4 cars. The shed has a corn hole game, 2 bikes as well as beach chairs, umbrellas and a cart. We look forward to renting again.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME.... LOVE CAPE MAY. HOUSE IN A GREAT LOCATION.. I DO WISH THE KITCHEN HAD BETTER POTS AND PANS AND THST THERE WERE LIDS...THE OUTSIDE PATIO WAS NICE BUT THE LANDSCAPING NEEDED SOME WORK.. COULD BE THAT I AM A GARDENER AND EVERYTHING WAS A TAD OVER GROWN...IE WISTERIA. SELF SEED TREES ETC... THE PICTURES WE SAW WERE SO PRETTY BUT NOT THE CASE....THNX AGAIN FOR A GREAT VACATION,

We had a wonderful time at this house in Cape May. Great location and nicely decorated. The four bedrooms were perfect for our group of 7. We appreciated the extras in the shed: chairs, beach cart, bikes and wagon for the kiddos. We will be back.

Highly recommended
We had a great time at this lovely house. It's large, full of sleeping options and has everything needed for a fun stay. The beach is only several minutes walk down the street and there are at several great restaurants within less than 3-minute walking distance (literally!). The kitchen was fully equipped, there are board games, DVDs (with fairly recent additions), wi-fi, ACs in every room and a lovely backyard. Ryan was extremely responsive and organized and we had all the information we needed in advance. A lovely place in a lovely town, highly recommended!

Best weekend ever!
This was only our second time to Cape May, and we couldn't be happier! Cape May is such a charming town. We had a blast! This house was perfect for us.....close to the beach and shopping area, and loved the fact that a pizza place, liquor store, breakfast restaurant, and Italian restaurant are across the street. I thought it might be a noisy area, but it was not at all! We enjoyed the outside pergola in the private backyard, after a day at the beach, and all the offerings of the house, including the welcome bottle of wine. Ryan was very responsive regarding any questions and we have already requested to book for next year!
