About this house rental
Situated in Bull Shoals, this charming house for $199 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. The Good Life is a family friendly lake house that we want to share with you! With Bull Shoals Lake right outside your back deck it is accessible for fishing, hiking, relaxing, boating, and/or exploring. Our lake house has 3 BR, 2 BA, sun-room, and wrap around deck that gives ample space for that relaxation you crave. Or if it is excitement you want, head to the Marina which is a 5 min. drive to rent boats, jet skis, kayaks, or canoes! There is also a cave nearby to venture through! Come and enjoy! The Good Life is located in a quiet setting and on the outer edge of town, on the lake. With the beautiful wraparound deck it's easy to enjoy the outdoors and the natural surroundings! We are centrally located, minutes away from shopping and lake activity. You are ONLY 5 min. to the Bull Shoals/White River Dam and Visitor's Center, 5 min. to Harps Grocery, 5 min. to Bull Shoals Marina where you can rent a boat slip, 5 min. to Bull Shoals Caverns, and 5 min. to Dollar General. Also the Bull Shoals-White River State Park is about 10 min. away where you can fish for that trophy Trout in the famous and beautiful waters of the White River! Or drive about 45 minutes south and tube or kayak float down the Buffalo River...you won't regret it! Also, only a 1 min. drive away is Brown's Beach where there is a nice swim hole, boat launch, park, pavilion, and bathrooms available to the public. The perfect area for a day of swimming, fishing, and picnicking! There is even a Drive-In Theater a little over an hour away. Kenda Drive-In, Marshall, AR. All the TVs are smart TVs. Two of them are Fire TVs so you will need to have an Amazon account in order to use them. Netflix, Hulu, HBO and many more apps are available for use. We do have an antenna in the Living Room for local channels as well. Please don't forget to log out upon leaving! Thank you. Bull Shoals Lake is protected by the Army Corp of Engineers and is kept in near pristine condition. Please make sure to pick up your trash when enjoying the lake life to keep the area clean and enjoyable for the next person. Thank you.

This cabin was perfect for our small group. The cleanliness exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the back deck and being so close to the lake. We used the fire pit one night to roast marshmallows. The neighborhood was very quiet and a short distance from our fishing excursions on the White River. I would highly recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back!

The house is comfortable, and the adjustable queen bed was great as I have a spine fusion and need a bed that can go into zero gravity. The king bed and the two twin beds in the house are also very comfortable. Living room, dining room & game room are also very comfortable. Kitchen is smaller but adequate. Check in and check are was a breeze. The only two complaints are the TV connections had a short somewhere so the cable signal was intermittent in the living room. The carpet is pretty worn out with traffic marks, but for a lake house that is somewhat common with carpet.

Fishing week
Great place for a fishing week. Room for a boat and truck in the drive and power on the side of the house for battery charger. The city park boat ramp is just around the corner a couple of minutes from the house. Perfect place for our use.

We spend 4 days in this Bull Shoals property and everything was perfect. The home was extremely comfortable and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Amble parking and even enough to park our boat. Great neighbors that were very helpful and welcoming. Great location whether you are fishing on the river or lake! Would definately stay here again!

Felt like home
Great property. The beds were fantastic. Plenty of space, outstanding kitchen with all of the amenities. Our first night we had an issue and contacted management. It was corrected immediately. I will definitely be back next year. Oh and a great wrap around porch!

Clean house in established area with short, gentle slope to waterline - great for kids. Rec area is a block or so away was a nice plus.

Nice yard and lake access
Overall pleased with property. As described. we found the lake easy to access via a trail or to bike to the boat ramp and park. Pleased with extras at the house (games, DVD's, smart tv's, laundry and kitchen supplies). Clean smell and surfaces were clean. Suggest Replacing sheets, blankets and towels to enhance the clean feel.

Sunny relaxing days, and quiet nights in a clean home!
We were immediately impressed when we walked in! The place was so clean and smelled great! The deck was nice for sunning and the fire pit was great at night! They have about everything you need to enjoy yourselves! We would definitely recommend this place and would book it again in the future!

The Wood’s house
For the last 7 years, we have held our annual “Trout Camp” on the White River for a week. This year, we were fortunate enough to stay at this home. Heather was amazing, communication was very prompt and very helpful for us! The home is amazing and the view of Bull Shoals cannot be imagined, way better than the pictures in ad! The house was spotless and accommodating for our group of 4 adults: close to town and the river. We will definitely return, we would like to thank Heather for an amazing stay

Better than we expected!
We were pleasantly surprised at the place and everything it had, from the soft beds, to the games, to the books, to the local guide magazines and to go menus. Our young boys loved the side porch and especially the doorbell (which we eventually had to block). My only complaint, which is a personal issue that I neglected to ask about, were the perfumed wall plug ins. I know many people don’t mind these, but I am very sensitive to the perfumes and I had go through and unplug them all and remove them. Unfortunately, the air was tainted so it affected my overall enjoyment of the place as it caused me some headaches and sinus issues. Again, this was my own fault as I’ve only encountered this once before and didn’t think to ask as we made this trip last minute. Besides that, we were quite happy with the place and even booked an extra day! The owners were very responsive and helpful! Thank you for the relaxing stay and the beautiful view!
