This beach apartment is what you and your family are looking for a tropical getaway. The palm trees and the view to the ocean will take your breath away. The apartment is on the second floor of a three story building, a short walk up a set of stairs. You can walk out from the building to one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. We are 25 miles from the San Juan airport and 30 miles from Old San Juan, nearby Rio Grande offers casinos and fine dining. Fajardo is within 15 minutes where you find natural attractions such as Las Cabezas de San Juan and the famous Bioluminescent Bay. El Yunque, not to be missed if you enjoy cascades, rainforest and hiking is only 15 minutes away. Supermarkets, banking, drug stores and restaurants are within walking distance. This apartment is a three bedroom / two bath, perfect for families who enjoy nature and want a relaxing and stress free vacation. The master bedroom has king sized bed, ceiling fan and a wall A/C unit. The master bedroom also has its own master bath with a shower tub. The second bedroom has two full sized beds, ceiling fan and a wall A/C unit. The third bedroom has two single beds, ceiling fan and a wall A/C unit. The second bathroom is located right next to the bedrooms, in the hallway.

I’ve never stayed at a place with quite the same view. Perfect weather all week, the balcony looks over the ocean yet never gets hot as the sun doesn’t directly shine on the balcony at any point of the day.
Easy check in and check out process. The host was highly communicative and quick to respond.
It’s the little things…
The apartment has all the little things you can think of. Spotlessly clean, toiletries, beach towels, beach chairs, beach games, boogie boards, and more. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies.
Loved our stay and loved the area. Will definitely be back!!

We wanted a beach front property with a nice beach to walk. This place was perfect. A nice quiet neighborhood made jt even more special. The place was so clean and airy...just lovely!

Beautiful location with beach view and access (yes, that photo is exactly what you see out the front window!). The beaches were wonderful for walking and swimming.
Perfect, well furnished and equipped place for us and our two adult kids. We appreciated being greeted on arrival by Adlin who gave us helpful information.
Luquillo is a wonderful place to explore the NE part of PR, including El Yunque rainforest park, bioluminescent kayaking in Fajardo and easy distance for a day trip to San Juan. We hope to return!

Loved our stay at Villa Palmer! This is a GREAT location if you are wanting to do the outdoor activities! Our group wanted to do the bioluminescent bay, snorkeling and the rain forest. The area around the apartment looked a little rough initially due to all the bars and gates, but I quickly realized that security is significant in most of Puerto Rico. We had no issues at all in the daytime but only were out at night coming back in our car after supper out. And no issues at all at night, but we didn’t walk around at night other than the parking lot. Multiple families and couples on the beach in the daytime, but never crowded. The apartment had everything you would want for the beach: beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel masks and mouthpieces, beach toys and multiple beach towels. Only thing I would have liked were blankets in the bedrooms if needed. I am used to sleeping w more than a light coverlet and sheet. Also, I stayed in the room w 2 double beds and the beds were SO HARD! Totally recommend a gel overlay for each if new mattresses are not in the near future. However, overall I would recommend this place.

We can’t say enough good things about this apartment! It was perfect for our family of 6 (4 young adults). The view from the comfy balcony is like a postcard. The apartment is well equipped - we didn’t cook, but did use the blender… - including lots of great beach gear. The beach is lovely, there are restaurants within walking distance, and Adlin (property manager) is a dream to work with. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful first visit to Puerto Rico! If you are looking to explore San Juan and the northeast part of the island, this is a great stepping off point. We spent time in Old San Juan, visited the El Yunque Rainforest, did beach horseback riding, surf lessons at La Pared, and kayaked the bio-bay in Fajardo.
The property was great for our family of four to spread out and have our own space as needed--especially important with teenagers. The view of the beach from the balcony was as good or better than the pictures. The property is clean and has lots of items for beachside and other entertainment. Martha was a communicative host/owner and Adlin was an excellent property manager. She gave us many recommendations on places to go, best time of day to do things, and lots of restaurant recommendations. She was also very timely in addressing things when we had an issue with the air conditioning/electrical.
We would stay here again! Be sure to eat lots of local food (mofongo & seafood were all great), drink local coffee, enjoy some pastries, and go get barbecue at La Estacion in Fajardo!

Everything was amazing. It’s a beautiful property located in a wonderful location, steps away from the beach and a very short drive to El Yunque. The home was incredibly clean, and Adlin, the property manager, was very attentive, without being intrusive. Check in and out was so easy, and Martha’s home was comfortable and so cute. Even with the power going out one evening, we were fine with the two backup power banks (even the WIFI stayed on). Thank you Martha!!

What a beautiful view. We had such a fantastic time. It was the first time for our kids and parents to Puerto Rico and they fell in love with it just as we had our first time there. The view is spectacular, we had enough room for 7 ppl comfortably. It took a little bit getting used the the gas stove but we did it and were able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on the patio with the beautiful view and sound of the ocean. So worth our trip renting this condo and we cant wait to go back. Thank you to Adril who provided us with great places to shop and eat. It was a wonderful experience!

Very nice - right next to the beach. Stayed for a bit more than a week. Plenty of beach accessories in the apartment, so we didn't have to buy any. There's a grocery store a few minutes away. And loads of restaurants.

Villa Palmar was a beautiful condo. The beach was amazing. We vacationed with our 3 adult children. Our first night, there was an Urban Jazz concert on the beach. Sunrise on the balcony was breathtaking.Many excursions close by, but the beach was hard to leave, We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was fantastic! We had a great time! Neighborhood was safe and waking up to the amazing view was breathtaking! Our flight was delayed and we didn’t make it to the property until after midnight! Her after hours check in instructions were so easy and clear! Thanks so much and we can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved this place! It was clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, everything needed for the beach. And paradise was right there beyond the balcony, we could see the palm trees, beautiful water and hear the waves from the kitchen, living room and balcony. Communication with the property manager was stellar. We can’t wait to return!

Villomar was the perfect place for our family to enjoy the beach, ocean, rainforest, and local areas. That view of the deck with ocean breezes was wonderful. Everything from check in to the lovely accommodations was easy…thank you for the stay… we want to come back!

We have stayed at this location before just in a different apartment but same lay out. Location is very convenient to the kioskos, the ferry and fajardo. Everything was fine in general. I would recommend.

Great apartment, great location
Property was perfect for our family. The view of the beach from the balcony/living room is spectacular as you are practically right on the beach. The apartment was clean, everything worked, and owner ism Rey responsive. We walked to some of the restaurants in Luquillo and just a quick drive to many more restaurants, the kiosks, and El Yunque Rainforest. Definitely would stay here again and again.

Perfect location
We had a wonderful stay at Vilomar. The location was perfect right across from the beach and close to great snorkeling, local restaurants and other attractions on Puerto Rico's North Coast.

This place is just lovely. It was clean and had every convenience. Our host was very nice and helpful. The apartment has a gorgeous view and a terrace. It is right by the beach. The place was perfect for us. We want to go back!!

The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Martha is by far the best host I’ve dealt with. Perfect Location
The apartment is directly across from a beautiful beach. Easy drive to the street kiosks. All beach supplies provided-lots of towels, chairs, skim board, boogie board, snorkel gear, cooler! Plenty of extra bath towels, washer/dryer, soap, shampoo. This owner has thought of it all! We loved it!

We had a grate family time even though the beach was very rough because the season. We had everything we needed . Since we couldn’t risk to go to restaurants , We could cook and enjoy meals together at the apartment

Although beach in front of apt is great, check out the beach right behind food kiosks. Grocery store less than 3 min drive. Definitely will look for this unit when I come back. My kids loved this place. Thank you.

Luquillo - Home Away from Home
Our family loved this condo. The location, amenities, communication with manager were excellent. We are already recommending this condo and area to friends who are interested in going to PR.
We especially enjoyed having beach blankets and other items handy.
The location was key to our visit to PR. Yunque was 10 min, as well as horseback riding at Carabali. We were also only 30 min away from Fajardo for the bio tour and the Ceiba ferry to Culebra. All these items were accomplished on our 'to do' list.

We loved everything about our trip! And Martha’s condo was a perfect landing spot for our adventures. It was beautiful, comfortable, and clean and the location was on point! We totally recommend it!!

Awesome Location!
The condo is exactly as pictured. I would reiterate what other reviewers have said that the location is fantastic, the bedrooms are nice sized, having a deck is great (imagine watching the waves over breakfast or evening cocktails), and the street between you and the beach is very quiet. While the metal gates are a bother and a bit disconcerting at first, I do understand that is the Spanish style rather than because the area is unsafe. Our only complaint is that although cable tv was listed as one of the amenities, it has been removed from the unit.
If we return to Luquillo I would definitely stay here again!

Truly comfortable living at the beach
Villa Palmar was absolutely fantastic. With three nice bedrooms and two bathrooms with a large entertainment area and a deck that overlooks a fantastic beach. There is a small side street between this place and the beach. There are great waves and boogie boards to borrow, as well as beach chairs and sand toys for the kids. There were times where my parents would sit out on the deck and could watch us with our kids playing on the beach.
Everything was so close. We rented a car for this trip and there we so many restaurants close to us. The grocery store was 3 minutes away and had everything we needed. El Yunque National forest was about 15 min away and one of the bio-luminescent bays was about 25 min away.
The only tricky part was getting used to the security, with several gates with different keys you have to take a second and think ahead before you split your group up to make sure that everyone can properly lock up on the way out and can get back in.
TLDR: The home was clean and comfortable for my wife and I and our 4 kids and my parents. The beach was close and so was everything else. There was beach stuff to borrow. There was some tricky security that requires some forethought. It was just about perfect.
