Situated in Mount Victoria, this charming house for $221 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Winterglen is in a spectacular yet peaceful position, with breathtaking views of the Kanimbla Valley and its escarpment, all the way to Mount Blackheath. It is a stone's throw to nearby walks and the famous Mt Piddington rock climbs. Charming local shops, tea rooms and country pubs are just a short drive away. It is a 5 minute drive to the busier centre of Blackheath, and not much more to the Zig Zag Railway, access to Jenolan Caves etc. No expense has been spared in the fit out and furnishing of this property, ensuring you will feel like you have had a luxury holiday. All linen and towels are provided to make settling in and leaving trouble free. The house is ideal for couples seeking a cosy weekend away, with a romantic master bedroom looking out onto the garden and high dormer windows to see the stars at night. There is a walk through ensuite bathroom and walk in robe. Groups and families will be extremely comfortable with a separate downstairs KS bedroom and their own bathroom and external access, as well as a second lounge room in the upstairs loft. The modern stylish kitchen is well equipped for gourmet meals, and the rear deck is perfect for morning coffees, afternoon champagnes and meals at any time of day. The main living area contains a slow combustion fireplace, comfortable seating and a tv, apple tv and a separate projector onto the main wall for big screen movie nights. Hydronic heating ensures the house is deliciously warm and cosy even on the coldest days, and all main beds have electric blankets and wool filled duvets. Almost all rooms make the most of the spectacular cliff and bush views. Sunsets are not to be missed as they light up the cliff faces into the valley.

I stayed at Winterglen with a friend as we were attending a local event, and our families joined us for our final night. The house was clean and tidy, and included everything we needed for a lovely stay. The downstairs bedrooms can get very cold but there are heaters and additional blankets provided. The host communicated well and was extremely helpful and friendly.

There were plenty of rooms for our family of four and Ben was kind enough to let us bring our two French Bulldogs. From the balcony was a beautiful view and we had a few kangaroo visitors in the backyard to the kids delight. A lovely area to visit and bush walk.

We were two families (4 adults and 4 kids) who all really enjoyed the weekend. The house was wonderful and warm and was perfectly equipped and spacious for us. The kids loved the projector big screen movies. We really enjoyed the walking trials, lookout points and mountain biking trails in the area.

Lovely house. Gorgeous outlook. Warm and comfortable despite the cold outside. Short walk to amazing bushwalks and lookouts. Kangaroos visited everyday. We look forward to our next stay!

Beautiful clean property with everything (and more) supplied. If you are looking for an extremely comfortable retreat than this property is perfect. More than enough space for the teens to have their area. Perfect deck overlooking the Blue Mountains and bush walks super close. Away from the busier parts of the Mountains. The host, Ben, has great attention to detail and excellent communication. We'll be back- hoping the weather will be kinder to us the next time round.

We enjoyed this house and location very much. There was plenty of space for our boys, ages 12 and 15 and they loved the Nintendo. The indoor fire was lovely and the view beautiful. The well stocked kitchen made it easy to self-cater for just a few days.

We enjoyed staying in Winterglen. The views of the canyon were spectacular, the lyrebirds and kangaroos in the back yard were a special bonus for travelers from the U. S. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Nice house in a great location. Perfect getaway for friends, family and your dogs! Well equipped, good sized bedrooms and toasty warm. Looks a bit bigger in the pictures. We had a great stay and would recommend

Beautiful home with a magnificent view. We had 3 couples and 2 children stay and it was the perfect layout and plenty big enough & good value for money. Great beds and very good heating. A small shelving unit would’ve been helpful in the main bathroom as 4 adults and 2 children sharing. Lovely, quite, homely neighbourhood. If catching the train it is a steady uphill walk the whole way to the house. 20min drive to Katoomba. Loved our stay and would easily recommend.

We arrived on a foggy day, so we were so amazed to wake up in the morning to a beautiful view. Birds on the deck in the morning and perfectly located with attractions close by. A fantastic 3 day family escape.

Lovely cosy house with gorgeous views. The heating system in the house was awesome and we were lovely and toasty for our long weekend away. Clean and quiet with some wonderful bush walks at the end of the road. Will definitely be back!
