Architecturally designed house with ocean views furnished in a beachy style, modern, comfortable and very well equipped.
Set in a natural setting backing onto a nature reserve and right at your back door is the track that leads to the dog-friendly beach and park. Castaways Beach - nestled between Sunrise and Peregian Beach has a stack of picturesque walking trails and the surf break is favoured by local surfers.
The house is set up with 2 pavilions.
The main pavilion features open plan living that enjoys ocean views and opens out to the deck and pool area. Master bedroom with ensuite and downstairs to second bedroom and bathroom/laundry. Furnished deck with BBQ joins the two pavilions.
The second pavilion includes a bedroom with powder room and upstairs to a second living/tv area.

Barefoot Bungalow is the perfect property for a family or group get-together. It ticks all the boxes: ocean views; rainforest garden; walk to beach; pet friendly; swimming pool; great kitchen facilities including BBQ and eating area on outdoor deck; and separate spaces for people to get away and spend time doing whatever it is they want to do. We loved our stay in this house and were visited by the resident green tree frogs every night! We will definitely come back.

The property was nice but had a weird layout. The second bedroom is not attached to the rest of the house, or the second sitting area. Location was good and beds were comfortable. There were a few issues though. There were ants, a cockroach in the pantry, there was mould on the kids room blind and the main bedroom blinds broke. I had issues with the wifi, which had a flow-on effect for the online compendium and Netflix. In particular the online compendium was not useful, as I had to set up a user name and password and then couldn't find the information I required. I suggest that you have a hard copy version available, as this made me very frustrated. I think there is also something wrong with the fire alarm, as on my last night it went off at 3:30am. I difficulty with the sliding doors and needed to call the property manager to have them closed - they were quite rusty. The person who helped me was wonderful and can't praise them enough. Very helpful and nice.
