Constructed in August of 2016, these townhouse style 3-bedroom, 3-bath units are tucked up against Watkins Glen State Park. Unit 5 sleeps 10 guests in queen beds made up with fresh linens for your arrival. The three full bathrooms, one on the first floor and two on the second, are stocked with clean towels and washcloths. The living/dining area has comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV with a large cable channel selection and a dining table with seating for 6. The full kitchen has basic cookware, dishes, glasses and flatware. Easy check in with code for entry supplied prior to your arrival. Located in a quiet, wooded area, Watkins Glen State Park is literally our back yard. It is a short walk to the main park entrance and the downtown area and less than a mile to Seneca Lake.Each suite is allowed to park 2 cars on the property, please plan ahead as any additional cars will need to utilize street parking downtown. Guest Access: This property is entirely at the disposal of the guests. The Neighborhood: Watkins Glen is a vibrant town with something to offer everyone. This property close to the town's main street, and walking distance to Watkins Glen State Park and convenient to Seneca Lake and the Village Marina. Walk the main street and visit the town's wide variety of shops and restaurants, or make the short drive to Watkins Glen International Speedway or the numerous wineries. Clute Park on Seneca Lake has a great area for picnics, grilling and a sand beach for swimming. Hike the gorge trails in Watkins Glen State park or spend the day at the olympic size swimming pool. The shores of Seneca and other nearby lakes are ringed with wineries, breweries, distilleries and boutique shops and restaurants. Getting Around: Much of what Watkins Glen has to offer is within walking distance. Transportation within Watkins Glen State Park is available for a nominal fee, and arrangements can be made for transportation for wine tours and other events by visiting the Watkins Glen Chamber of Commerce website

This unit was perfect for us. We were in town for racing at Watkins Glen and this was perfect. The unit was clean, everything was in working order. I loved it!!

Location was terrific, it served our needs and the management was responsive to inquiries. However, the driveway was treacherous and parking was awful. Huge muck puddle in front of our unit that must always be there since the water comes down the mountainside.; and tight quarters for getting in and out of the spaces. We were 5 and it was a perfect fit, but would be really tight with more people - lack of comfortable seating. It would also be awkward cooking in the unit given the design. We found some wasps inside a bedroom and had a hard time regulating temperature on the first floor - and the unit made a loud noise when running. Management sent someone to check it out but their response back was quite condescending. It didn't ruin our stay, but we would not go back.

Like the title says it was clean for the most part and very close to town and the park. We walked most places. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced. All of them are "cannoed". The amenities are very basic but met our needs. A washer/dryer would be nice and the hot water heater wasn't nearly big enough. The lighting is terrible to say the least. Needs a few lamps in the common room and lights above the sinks in the bathrooms. Overall a decent stay.

Property is as described and nice in a great location. Walking distance to Watkins Glen welcome center and restaurants, establishments in the town of Watkins Glen. Place was only moderately cleaned, as the carpets in the bathrooms and stairs/upstairs hall were a but dirty and the floors in the unit could use a good scrubbing, and the stove could use a good cleaning. However, otherwise, the unit was acceptable. The biggest issue was the air conditioning was not operating and it got VERY HOT in the unit. We contacted the owner about this and the fact that a good was coming off the hinges. The door issue was very quickly resolved, but the AC issue was never addressed and we had yet another uncomfortable night/morning in the unit because of the temperature before leaving. Otherwise, the property was acceptable and in a great location.

Everything was great except...

We loved the place...the location, the size, the amenities! However, we did notice that the floors were dirty. It seemed like they weren't vacuumed or cleaned. In the downstairs bathroom, there was a person's contact and dirt. In the downstairs bedroom, there was stuff on the rug that needed to be vacuumed. Upstairs, the carpet needed to be vacuumed as well. The only other thing would be the shower curtains being somewhat dirty(start of mold) on the bottom in the corners.

Nice clean place. Close to downtown. Only problem we had was not having enough hot water. There were 6 of us and only 1.5 of us had hot water in the morning.
