Not what I expected. Safety issues, noise, house and property unkept. we were not allowed a refund, even with the Safety issues, so we're forced to stay our entire 10 days at this property:( the owners recommation was that my husband and I sleep in the living room on a futon to avoid the uneven unsafe stairs (13 uneven stairs to our room). luckily no one was seriously hurt. The property may be ok for a bunch of college kids but not safe for mid to older adults, i could go on but that was the major issue:( I also lost hours of my vacation trying to remedy this for my family.

3 families spent 2 nights at this property. If we were staying longer, we likely would’ve left to find another property. There are 2 bathrooms, one of which was severely clogged in both the shower and the toilet. The toilet was unusable and the shower flooded the entire bathroom if it was used. We did contact the host who advised us not to flush toilet paper. It is understandable that it would be difficult to get a plumber to service the home in short notice in Culebra. However, 11 people using one bathroom was far from ideal. The view from the home is beautiful, however we had rain often and we weren’t able to use the roof top patio as much as we would have liked to. The house does sleep many people however, the common space indoors is very small and we we’re definitely tripping over each other. We anticipated being outside more and only using the home for sleep but again due to rain that wasn’t possible. I also feel that it’s important to note that although a/c was perfect the windows do not fully close and the roosters were loud throughout the night. Overall, the home was as expected but I am grateful we did not book it for more than 2 nights.

Nice decks. Great views of bay and small airport. Comfortable beds and a pretty well stocked kitchen. Our family really enjoyed our stay there.

Cada Maria has an amazing view to the bay!!! The living room has glass windows so you can enjoy the view is spacious with two futons has TV, air conditioning . The kitchen has everything you need. Has two bathrooms and three bedrooms. On the roof the house has a terraza that you can enjoy with bbq. I recommend this place 100% the owner super nice and we have good communication with her.

Great property and great location. Would have liked a map of the town and maybe an introduction booklet about town rules/times of openings and closings. Also, a washer and dryer in the house. Another thing would be to add WiFi and make sure tv service works. Communication with owner was excellent, we were always able to reach her when calling. Overall excellent property and manager.

From the beginning of our stay we were taken care of by the owner. We had everything in the house well organized. We definitely recommend this house if you are traveling with a large group. Our spot in culebra when we visit again.

The house is pretty, has incredible views and space. The location was perfect and near by the airport. There is room for improvement as mattresses, kitchen utensils, bbq and air conditioning since they seems a bit outdated. Otherwise, the experiance was great! Thank you.

Great view...clean and spacious. We had 15 people in the house. Everything worked well; the kitchen had the necessary (perhaps a toaster will make it even better). The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Air conditioners worked nicely. The terrace on the roof is a perfect setting for an evening BBQ overlooking the bay. Would repeat definitely!

The home was beautiful, lots of steps meant I could eat extra alcapurrias on the beach :). We rented the whole house for our group of 9 (2 families) and had plenty of space. The kitchen was great all though there were not enough dishes/silverware. The house was clean, well laid out. There was lots of outdoor space and a bbq, all though we weren't there long enough to use it. The location is great and the views are amazing. I'm one of those weirdos that wakes up early on vacation, so I liked to read on the rooftop balcony as the sun was coming up. I wish we had had more time ( we stayed 2 nights but didn't get there until after 5 the first night due to the lovely ferry) on the island, I highly recommend Casa Maria.

Waking up with this view was amazing. The two terraces were very nice for hanging out after a beach day. The house is spacious and perfect for big families. Beautiful Flamenco Beach is very close (by car). I will definitely stay again in Casa Maria.

This house is nothing like it seems in the add. The house is absolutely falling apart. So here is what we experienced. The first negative thing we noted was that the grounds were not kept up at all. The grass/weeds all around was 2 feet tall, not what one would expect from a conscientious owner, but whatever, not a big deal. When we got inside it just went downhill from there. I could not even believe the condition of the house. The owner did a quick walk through and rushed off, She said we may not be able to reach her on her cell phone. During our quick walk through we didn't see the washer and dryer that was supposed to be there. When we asked about it she said, " Oh the washer is broken but I think the dryer works. " This was a big deal to us because we were on an extended vacation and needed to do laundry. Her solution to this was, " I will get you directions to a Laundromat." We then asked about the WiFi and she said we should just disconnect and not worry about WiFi even though WiFi was advertized. The condition of the house: It was run down. The paint on the inside is peeling bad!!! In one of the bedrooms, right next to a bed, was an electrical outlet with wires exposed . Also light fixtures that were just hanging off the wall by the wiring. Not safe. Some of the windows were broken and duct tape was used to replace the glass in one window. There was no hot water not at all NONE. The oven handle was missing which I think was intentional because when we tried to open it we realized that it doesn't open more than a few inches before it hits on the cupboard, so it is impossible to use. There are a few dishes in the cupboard for the renters to use but they are not clean, which is not a surprise, the whole place was dirty. It looked like all they do is wipe down the toilets and the tops of the counters and that is it There was dirt and grime everywhere. The straw that broke the camel's back were the BUGS! As soon as it got dark bugs started coming out of the woodwork and the cracks in the walls and under the doors. It was disgusting! There were even bugs in the beds so we decided then that we couldn't stay there. I could go on and on but you get the point. I wish I had researched this one better and looked at the pictures on trip advisor before I rented it.

House was big for our family but for 6 adults and 2 kids total of 6 towels only! house needs some updating. And bathroom as well love to stay again amazing island but the house needs updating and key essentials living items for vacationers!
