Our week in heaven
Casa Herdz was more than we ever dreamed it would be. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the service is impeccable. The food was the best I've ever had and the bar service was phenomenal. We are a group of 12 from Texas and drink more than the average, but that was not a problem. Sarah (house manager) fulfilled our every request including beer choices not on the original list; she is awesome. My son was sick and she even went to the pharmacy to pick up antibiotics for him; where else would you get service like that? Jeffrey was amazing and kept the frozen concoctions coming faster than we could drink them. I can't say enough about the staff. Sarah even took us on a couple of excursions and the experience was above all PERFECTION. My husband and I were there with our closest friends to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and they made it most memorable; including a cake on our special dinner night. I am only sorry our stay couldn't be longer but I am praying to get back there in the future. If you are looking to spend a week in paradise and not have to lift a finger this is the place for you. There aren't enough stars to rate this place. Thank you AJ, Sarah, Kalvin, Jeffrey, E, and Manny for a wonderful time. You will be missed greatly.

Sweet 16 Couldn't Have Been Any Sweeter!
We choose this property to celebrate our daughter's Sweet 16. We were a family of 16. The house is amazing, beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff treated us like royalty. Sarah, the house manager went above and beyond to accommodate our every need and the extra touches she made for my daughter's Sweet 16 dinner were so sweet. Kelvin and Emuale, the chefs cooked every meal with perfection. The food was outstanding and were were stuffed! The wait staff and the house cleaning staff kept the house in tip top shape and we never wanted for anything. Julie, our bartender, made amazing drinks for us and always kept our glasses full. I highly recommend this property and go with the all inclusive, you will not regret it!

A Perfect Family Vacation
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Herdz for a family getaway. And what a pleasure it was!
I knew we made the right decision in booking Casa Herdz immediately upon our arrival. We were welcomed outside the front door with smiling faces and tropical drinks for each of our 12 guests. When we stepped into the home, it was even more breathtaking than the online photos! The house is an architectural masterpiece appointed with quality furnishings and artwork, and the views out to the pool area overlooking the ocean were magnificent!
Sara, the property manager, was always by our side to assure everything went smoothly during our week. From arranging airport pick-ups for us to making reservations for our excursions, she was always there to assure our experiences were perfect! Julie and Kelvin fed us delicious meals throughout the week and made sure our drink glasses were always filled with tasty tropical potions! And Merida and her housekeeping staff were onsite every morning to ensure the house was spotless each and every day. By the end of our week, we felt like they were all part of our family, and we were sad to have to say goodbye.
In summary, being in a beautiful home with spectacular views made our vacation wonderful. But the warmth and generosity of the staff is what really made our vacation priceless. I highly recommend Casa Herdz to all those looking for a perfect vacation!

Relaxing yoga retreat!!!
I brought a group to Casa Herdz for a yoga retreat. The home was gorgeous and so was the view! The chef was extremely accommodating and flexible and the food was delicious. The manager was very helpful in arranging massages, etc. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future

Great Spot
This place was amazing and the staff was fantastic. Kelvin, the head chef, was creative and accommodating. We had a slight problem that was addressed immediately. The food was wonderful. The only drawback was the distance of the property from major attractions.

Best wedding celebration location!! House and views are breath taking!
We had a small wedding celebration with 34 guests. All the staff were over the top and anything needed or issues that may have come up was taken care of by Sarah immediately. Chef Kelvin food was like the best!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner there was always happy plates ( all food was eaten). We had our ceremony on the large rock on the beach with tide splashing our feet and legs, took the plunge into the ocean afterwards. All our guests were taken by the beauty of this property. Thank you to the staff, AJ and his family for making this truly an event that will be talked about forever....

Best wedding ever
Our stay at Casa Herdz was an amazing experience! The staff went above and beyond in helping us with anything we needed right from the time we land at the airport to the last second of our departure.
AJ was very responsive and could not have asked for a better host, Sarah the property manager definitely did a great job in making sure everything was working in the villa, master chef Calvin made sure our belly’s were full of his delicious food and our hands equipped with the right drink we wanted, Maria with the help of her housekeeping crew made sure the place was neat and we were made comfortable. We also had our wedding here and just as everyone in the staff was great Sarah the wedding coordinator pulled an amazing wedding.
All of our guests, both staying in the Villa and the ones that visited for the wedding were astonished at how beautiful the place was both for the wedding and the regular days. They were also amazed at how delicious the food and how helpful the staff was.
We can’t express enough how happy we were with our stay and would recommend Casa Herdz to anyone that would like to experience a great vacation. Thank you AJ and the entire staff for hosting us and we would love to stay at your place again.

One of my best vacations !!!
I spent with my co-workers one of the best vacations I've had in one of the most spectacular properties in Puerto Rico, Casa Herdz. The view to the sea, the infinity pool with bar and the service make this a perfect spot for a perfect vacation. If you want to spend a few days with your friends / family in one of the best places in Puerto Rico, do not hesitate and book at Casa Herdz, I guarantee it. I hope to come back soon.

This property has no comparison, it is the best !!
I have no words to describe what you feel when you open the door at Casa Herdz, it is so spectacular that you do not think it's a house, you see this huge open space with exquisite decoration details, when you walk down the stairs what you see is the majestic view of the infinity pool that joins the sea and what you want to do is to dive immediately into the pool.
The service is 5 stars as well as the food, you have to choose the all inclusive service. My children, who are teenagers, were in the swimming pool during the day and in the beautiful theater of 12 seats that the house has at night. In truth, there is no comparison with this property, it is the best vacation I have had in my life. I hope to come back soon.

Little paradise for your wedding / pequeño paraíso
The location of the house is breathtaking. Once, you enter the pool area is like being in your own paradise. The ocean view, the beach and the sunset are amazing. We had
some issues with the house that were out of the management or our control; however Sarah,the house manager did everything she can to solve any situation. One situation was that our 96 years old grandpa stay with us and he cannot walk that well, so the elevator was fixed the next day. We really appreciate that. In addition we used the house as a wedding venue. Everything was perfect for us. You can celebrate the ceremony and reception at the pool deck and have your cocktail hour in the second deck downstairs. Their is plenty of space for everything. We loved the place and we are considering to celebrate our 5th or 10 anniversary there.
I will recommend this place for weddings or just for vacation. You will not be disappointed and if you are lucky you will be able to see some dolphins or whales.

Best vacation EVER!
From the moment we arrived at Casa Herdz we were given the first class treatment. The home looks like it came out of a magazine and the view was breathtakingly beautiful. The staff was absolutely amazing. They catered to our every need. From running out and grabbing nyquil for a guest who was sick, to coordinating excursions, to making last minute adjustments to the menu to accommodate someone's allergies. One of the staff members (Miguel) even swam out to save someone stranded in a kayak. The head chef Kelvin was awesome! Not only was he gifted in the kitchen, but he and the rest of the staff were very friendly. They made us feel very comfortable. Sara who was our VIP host took care of everything for us. She made sure we had everything we could possibly want or need during our stay. We had a party of 10 kids and 7 adults and everyone had a blast. The bartenders Julie and Carlos were great! They made sure to make fun frozen virgin drinks for the kids as well as alcoholic beverages for the adults. Carlos even hollowed out coconuts and filled them with drinks for everyone. We would highly recommend visiting Casa Herdz for your next vacation. We've only been home for two days and we already miss the staff. Big thank you to the entire crew, you made this the best and most memorable vacation ever. Already thinking about booking another trip for next year!

Our second time staying at Casa Herdz
Fourteen of us had a lovely week at this beautiful home. We were well taken care of by the friendly and accommodating staff. Whereas last time we cooked our own meals, this time we did the all-inclusive package--what a delight! Nothing to worry about, and the meals were delicious.
Sarah was kind enough to arrange a bioluminescent boat tour for us, and even set up a jet ski rental.
We'd all love to go back. Hmm... maybe next year...

I must say that my review is truthful and constructive. Also, my review applies more to (1) a large group, (2) those who do not know much about cooking, and (3) those who dont drink. Overall, this villa offers an amazing view of the ocean, with a small private beach with easy access to snorkeling sites. We, especially the kids, loved the movie theater and the swimming pool. The dining area was spacious enough to handle our group of 24. During our stay, we experienced frequent internet interruptions and power outages. One of room upstairs did not have airconditionning for several days. The staff: some are more friendly and helpful than others. The maintenance staff were great and willing to help beyond their allocated duty. The pool cleaner did an excellent job daily. Oh, about the manager, we saw her about 3 times, over the 7 days we stayed at the villa. The second day of our arrival, I had asked her to assist me in planning some activities for our group. She was not helpful at all. I ended up having to do everything by myself. The kitchen staff was wonderful, especially Kelvin. He was willing to amend his cooking techniques to accommodate our taste. He went out of his way to buy us the food that we requested, even live chicken. Kelvin could use a more modernized kitchen to prepare his food. The bartenders/waitresses lacked in bartending skills and at times appear lazy. We asked for several common mixed drinks (margarita and Mai Tai). They had to Google for the recipes. I ordered the margarita twice and on both occasions, they tasted bitter and undrinkable. On the last day of our stay, I asked them twice to get the dessert and they neglected my requests and were preoccupied with other things. It got to the point where we get our own drinks at times. The Food & drinks: outrageously overcharged for the types/quality of food and drinks served. Considering our large group, we paid a lot of money for all inclusive package. First, I did not see any top shelf wines/liquor as advertised. On the first day, the bartenders served us two types of red wines. One was drinkable, the other tasted like cheap vinegar. The next few days they continued to serve us undrinkable wines which we ended up not drinking any red wines and only drink the liquor we brought with us. In conclusion, our expectations did not match the reality. For this reason, I give it a 3-Star property at best.

Our stay at Casa Herdz was nothing short of spectacular. The process of setting up the visit was easy with nothing left to chance. The house provided us with everything we needed to make the most of our visit with separate suites for each couple (5), plenty of space to spread out, a beautiful pool and hot tub, great views, and access to wonderful beaches. The best part though was the staff. Kelvin provided sensational meals, Merida and Samantha took care of any needs we had during the day, and Sarah made sure everything went smoothly and provided the little extras that were really appreciated. Casa Herdz described as "Heaven in the Caribbean" says it all. Our stay there was the best vacation our family has ever had. The house was spectacular beyond words. Even better that the pictures, if you can imagine that! We truly didn't want to venture away from the house, so we could spend most of our time in the amazing pool and hot tubs! The panoramic ocean view was breathtaking and some of our group even spotted a few whales. On a helpful note, be prepared for the drive from SJ airport. It took us at least 1 hour and 30 minutes, so bring snacks, and close to the house you may be a bit concerned about the area, HOWEVER, the journey is worth every minute! When you get to Casa Herdz, you will be in awe of the house and it's surroundings. The only thing we weren't able to do during our trip was snorkel or kayak from the beach because of the big waves, but instead we have a great time cheering on the surfers while watching them take on the big rollers. It was a fun experience. We did go to Crash Boat beach one day, which was very near. Another great memory was our family watching the Super Bowl in the beautiful theater. Yet another great amenity of this awesome property. As much as I can't say enough good things about Casa Herdz, the greatest value lies within the beautiful people who cared for us. The owners (A.J. and Veronica) went over the top to make sure our every need was met in a remarkable way. The food prepared and served by beautiful Chef Linda and her wonderful assistant, Angel was absolutely delicious. (An extra bonus was Chef Linda being a Massage Therapist as well. She spent an entire day with us, doing massages!) Also, Edgar happily kept us in fresh beverages throughout the day. :-) Sweet Marida and Johanna kept the house spotless, dishes done, beds made and linens fresh. With all that said, one of the greatest gems we encountered on this trip was Sarah, the Property Manager. In a very short time, she became a very dear friend. Sarah went above and beyond her duties to do everything possible to make sure we had the best vacation ever. Indeed it was. Sweet Sarah, along with the rest of the wonderful people at Casa Herdz are now an extension of our family in Puerto Rico. We truly will not forget any of them and without a doubt look forward to another vacation there. This was my 60th birthday celebration and my husband and I, along with our entire family thank everyone at Casa Herdz for making it one we will remember forever!!

We stayed at Casa Herdz as a group of 13 and could have stayed there forever. The property and the views were breathtakingly beautiful! Even more stunning than the photos could possibly portray.
The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was wonderful and they truly elevated our experience. We were greeted with complimentary coffee beans, wine, and a fruit basket upon our arrival. Sarah, the property manager, was so lovely and helpful and on call at all hours throughout our stay to help with anything we needed. She arranged a beautiful catered dinner for us and brought two phenomenal chefs in to prepare us authentic Puerto Rican fare. It was absolutely delicious and we were so grateful that she put in this effort! We also had daily maid service which kept the house spotless throughout our stay. The maids were so incredibly sweet and also went out of their way to ensure that we had an unparalleled experience. Meridia prepared coffee in the morning as soon as she heard us wake, tended to one of our group members when they got a cold, and offered to help with everything and anything we needed. You could tell she genuinely cared about making this experience special for us. We had some questions about Puerto Rican culture and cuisine and she always took the extra time to share with us and recommend restaurants and activities for our stay. She was such a wonderful lady!
Beyond the incredible property and the exceptional service, this place had so many wonderful details that contributed to our experience. Everything was state of the art. The house had an integrated surround sound system right down to the pool level that could be controlled from your smartphone, smart tvs throughout, a phenomenal espresso machine and margarita maker, and loads of beach accessories like kayaks.
If you want a world class experience and a stay in paradise look no further! The only downside of this place is that you may never want to stay anywhere else. :)

We had our wedding at Casa Herdz and we were able to host 55 people in the house without an issue. (We had plenty of room to spare) The house is gorgeous, everyone spent their days outside in the pool area. The shallow pool over the pool bar is out of this world, that's where I spent most of my time. The house is 'smart' so we had music playing throughout the house all week from cell phone.
The housekeepers were absolutely amazing. Merida made sure we were always taken care of, she felt like family by the end of the week. She even helped us pick wild flowers for our wedding bouquets.
The master suite is like a dream. I was blown away by how nice the house and the grounds were. The owner was very gracious and helped out with anything that he could.
I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for an unforgettable time. Amazing!

This villa was amazing from the moment we stepped foot inside it. We were greeted by the amazing staff right away. Pictures cannot capture the spectacular layout, beautiful decorations, or the exterior of the house, in other words how magnificent the villa is. The views every single evening were breathtaking. The kids loved the pool, kayaks, game room, and movie theater. We made memories that we will never forget. It is a true relaxing getaway location. Would recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Puerto Rico.

On January 11, 2016, our party of 13 arrived at what now seems like a dream. Neither pictures nor words capture the beauty of this place. For 5 days, we enjoyed every aspect of this property. We used 5 of the 7 available bedrooms, both indoor and outdoor dining areas and kitchens, pool and jacuzzis and the constant sunny low 80 degree weather.
We did not purchase the all-inclusive, but did quite well between local supermarkets, restaurants and fresh-caught fish from nearby Crash Boat Beach and a local fisherman who swam his 25 lb. Mahi-Mahi right to our door.
We couldn't get enough of the gorgeous sunsets, the sound of the waves against the rocks, the ocean views from so many locations and the elegant spaciousness of the entire villa. Lastly, Sarah, house manager, and Merida, housekeeper, and her team made us feel so welcome and did a splendid job without us feeling like they were in the way.
Our ages ranged from 2 to 61 and everyone is still saying how much they would love to return. Thanks for making this property available.

The movie theater and pool was a great hit for the kids! It gave us parents a time to relax and enjoy our stay. Thank you for all the added hotel amenities in the bathrooms - it is a very nice gesture. We loved all the home intelligent features - surround sound music, full internet, movies, cable and more.
