The location is absolutely brilliant right on the water with its own private pontoon making it easy to arrive and depart. also it has a wonderful outlook towards Phang Nga mountains. The service of the team was first rate and the morning breakfast whilst simple was local and enjoyed sitting outside with the best view in the world
In my grand old age I have become soft and need a less firm mattress. Let’s just say it was incredibly firm but in the scheme of things wouldnt stop me coming back.

This place is simply incredible. In this fishing village on stilts, with the inhabitants at the bottom and a view of the mountains rising from the water in the distance, you find yourself immersed in this fisherman's life; it's amazing.

Good location and the owner kindly arranged a private boat for us back when we missed the public transfer.
There seems to be different standards of double rooms that are all priced the same but seem to be allocated on a first come first served basis - we got given a room with no window (well the window opened onto a wall), no TV (which sucked when everywhere is closed in the evening) and no bedside lamps so stuck either in the dark or under fluorescent lights. Not what I expected for the money.
I would expect that room to be a lot cheaper than the double room with mountain views and a TV!
If you want hot eggs for your breakfast, make sure to go as soon as it's cooked as they sit under cling film after that.
The owner was nice but seems to run the business alone and wasn't always present to assist with any questions.
All in all, the island is only really opened during the day, we had planned on going around the market stalls once the day visitors had left to find them all closed. Managed to find a restaurant to have dinner but the chef had already gone home (they kindly reopened for us). I would suggest an evening restaurant at the guesthouse would be a very good addition.
