This property features lush tropical landscaping, two gorgeous pool areas with hot tubs and water features. There are gas grills peppered throughout the property and tennis courts available for your use. The Kamaole Beaches are world famous for their pristine water, long sandy shoreline, great snorkeling and boogey boarding. In addition during the winter, the humpback whales are just off shore and put on a great show. You will also enjoy the most magnificent sunsets imaginable. You also are within walking distance to activities, shops and restaurants and a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. ** Important Notice: The laundry dryer vent in this unit will be serviced on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Access will be required for about 20 minutes between 8:30 am - 2:00 pm on that day. A Maui Kamaole staff member will accompany dryer vent technicians into the unit. **

This was our 3rd stay in Maui Kamole. The property itself is wonderful as is the location. No qualms at all. And recommend highly. As for B206, it was not up to par with the other 2 units we stayed in previously. As others said it was dated and honestly fashion doesn't mean anything to me, I am ok with avocado green etc. We had issues with the TV, a non covered outlet, a bathroom screen that was dirty and did not fit properly, 2 drawers in the loft that were not usable, sheets that were starting to pill, a night stand that was peeling and a towel rack that fell apart every time you pulled a towel off. The unit is for 6 but only 4 chairs so keep that in mind. The rental agency did come and fix the TV and added a cover to the outlet. And will probably address the other issues later. The good is we were able to have dinner in most nights as there was basics for cooking available. All the appliances are in working order. All the AC units work and the unit has lots of fans if you choose to use them. There is lots of colorful dishware and tupperware like containers. Always a plus. The decor is Hawaiian and I personally like that. The parking is super close for your car. The unit is a quick walk to the street and lower pool. Our neighbors were respectful and quiet. The stairs are steep in the unit so if mobility is an issue do not use this unit. The carpet makes the landing a smaller area. Children will have no issue with it. I have never stayed in a loft 2 bed area before and was surprised at how the noise carries upstairs. Not a problem for most. Just be aware. The downstairs bedroom was great. . There were some added touches also. A swing chair on the lanai, yoga mats and light weights, a few dvd and books to exchange, plastic glassware etc. Given we have stayed in other units I would not stay in this one again if others were available for the same cost.

This place was great. The bathroom tile near the shower upstairs needs some repair. Its a huge unit easily fits a family of five. Great location close to Kamaole beaches. Its 30 mins from airport. The unit was clean, carpeted no smells. Nice balcony with outdoor seating. Parking was easy. There are two pools. Grocery stores and shops close by.Kitchen has everything including dishwashing detergent. Laundry in unit is great. Ice machine made a ton of ice. AC is strong. Sofa bed in family room is nice, but could hear chicken crowing in early morning. Garbage/Recycle was nearby and easy. BBQ next to pool. Highly recommend, great value. Check in/out was easy.

Very clean and comfortable condo. The kitchen was well stocked, A/C worked well and the property had quiet hours (10pm-8am), which we appreciated. Pool was close to the unit. Boat launch beach area was very close to the condo, however, beach was a much longer walk-- so, we preferred to drive.

Our family of 5 has been visiting Kihei almost annually since 2010. We’ve stayed at different condos/properties each visit. This was our first stay at Maui Kamaole. We stayed 2 weeks.
The space is very warm and cozy, full of nostalgic Hawaiian beach decor and furniture that felt immediately comforting (strong 90s Golden Girls vibes). We felt immediately at home. Our two teen girls set up in the loft and the space and bathroom were perfect for their needs. Our tween son took over the sofa bed in the living area, which he loved.
The main lanai off the living area is a perfect place for morning coffee, swinging, and shared meals. We spent most mornings and evenings on the lanai.
The pool is close, which was a big bonus for us.
The beach (Kam 3) is a downhill walk, so if you have physical accessibility needs I recommend driving to the beach. Walking back up with beach gear in tow is a bit of a climb if you have little ones who are tired or cranky, so I recommend renting a beach wagon for the walk.
We rented snorkel gear, boogie boards, and an umbrella. The condo has good chairs. If you need beach toys, you should bring those along or rent/buy.
This is a wonderful, well-loved space, and I hope the owners never renovate because it’s the most charming, nostalgic space, and I never want it to change! 🥰

Great location to the beaches, great swimming pool, great grounds, the unit needs to be deep cleaned, the washer was broke for 2 weeks, the light didn't work in the bathroom for 3 days, the light was broken in one bedrooms fan and the fan made a terrible racket

We enjoyed our stay at unit B 206. The unit is dated but is functional. The kitchen is well stocked, deck area very nice. It is private & quiet. The bed in the master suite could be better, lights in both bathrooms gave us trouble. Would be nice to have more lights over dining table. The grounds are very nice & kept well. Location of unit is great, close to pool. Overall had good experience.

All I can say is that this is a great unit in a wonderful resort property. Parking has great access, the pool and grille areas are handy and it's got great beach access away from the most congested parts of kihei. The unit itself is as advertised so it's always nice not to get any bad surprises. I'd return to it in a heartbeat and the check-in process was seamless.

The condo is great. However, the pull-out couch is not comfortable at all. My son says he feels the springs in his back. Maybe buy a new mattress for the couch? There are tiny bugs constantly on the kitchen counter. The backsplash and counter are not sealed and the bugs crawl through the cracks; this is unfortunate.
I would not stay in this unit again.

Vacation rental was very nice. It had everything we needed for our vacation. The AC units were able to keep the units cool but a couple of them required some maintenance. They were noisy and not draining properly. Some new flooring besides carpet would really spruce this place up. This unit is right across from the main pool making it very convenient. Overall a great place to stay!

The unit was larger than I expected with two unique lanais. We enjoyed the lanai outside the living room enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The emails explaining the check-in and check-out process were extremely helpful. The digital front door lock eliminated the need to check-in/out at a reception desk. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and living area made the unit comfortable during the hot days and humid nights. The unit is located within walking distance to eateries and shops, and a great walking/running route. We love to stay in the "Kamaole-area", which I would describe as in-between the main part of Kihei and the beginning of Wailea. It's a great unit, in a great location, on a great island. The perfect unit making a perfect stay.

Close to the beach, especially if you’re thinking about snorkeling with Redline Rafting, it’s just across the street. Many restaurants near by. Very easy checking and check out. We saw one roach inside the house and one on outside stairs, but other than that the place was organized.
Something to keep in mind before booking is that it’s about 1.5 hrs from the famous Hana Highway. We will rent this place again when come back to Maui in the future . Thank you!

Everything as advertised. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Great location in Kihei just across the beach. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Not as busy as Lahaina so it worked perfectly for our family. If you come to Maui, make sure to do "Road to Hana" trip. Highlight of our vacation! The place to be on Maui
Kihei is the best place to stay - local food amazing beaches, not crowded or over priced. This location was about 50 steps to the wonderful heated pool and hot tub. Directly across the not business street to the beaches. We saw 3 turtles resting at the boat ramp on our last day. Condo has plenty of space, kids were very happy. Loved the amount of kitchenware and plenty of linens/towels. Really want t stay here again!

A fantastic family vacation and everything we needed was in our condo. And where did you get those beach towels? I want some for our home! Our first day on Maui, we walked across the street and swam at the beach and a turtle popped up right next to us. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay. It was magical.

It seemed like this is the place where things were brought when no one wanted to throw it out. This unit has 15 tables, 4 blenders (one from each decade), 3 clothes hampers and a palm Christmas tree that had 10 years of dust on it. All the clutter would make it hard for the cleaners, there is no way they could dust every single surface or ornament in this place. Even with so much furniture it would be impossible to vacuum properly.
I think most units in the complex have been renovated and updated but nothing has been touched on this unit since the 1970’s. The washer and dryer are original and can only hold 3 beach towels. The beach equipment was subpar to say the least. 6 beach chairs (3 ripped), 1 weathered boogie board with no safety strap and a beach umbrella bought by someone who’s never been to the beach before. There is a closet on the deck witch other units use to store beach equipment but this units was locked so the little equipment it has is stored on the deck and the weather has taken its toll on it. We bought a new board and umbrella and left it in the unit but it is in desperate need of beach chairs (Costco has great ones).
I know these units are individually owned and the owners may have items there with personal significance but these things should be locked in the owner’s closet and the place cleaned. At the very least this unit needs to be de-cluttered, new carpet and have a place to store sandy beach equipment.

The property was just as listed (minus the cool balcony swing- bummer!). Some of the appliances are outdated but work perfectly fine and was a wonderful place to stay. The beds were all comfortable, bathrooms clean and worked well, and the living areas were great. The condo is a perfect location adjacent to the pool and an easy walk down to the beach and into town. Very easy check in and check out using the hospitality app- didn't need to contact the property manager about anything.
