Gael is an excellent host, very communicative and great at offering suggestions for local activities
The house is stunning and has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored into a very chic guest house
Breakfast was lovely, with various home made jams and cake, and fresh pastries from local artisanal bakery
The air conditioning in our first room unfortunately didn't cool down the mezzanine level where the bed was, which was a struggle during a heatwave. However we were relocated for our second night to a lovely cool and comfortable room

A fantastic stay from start to finish. Gael is a wonderful host with good ideas for local activities and concerts and the property is beautifully designed and managed. Even during a heatwave we found the building and grounds comfortable and relaxing. The pool is a perfect size with a nice lounge area around it and fridge filled with wine and sparkling water for purchase. Breakfasts are delicious with perfect croissants and jam, and the other travelers we met at it were all interesting. The whole place is peaceful and relaxing. When needed, the wi-fi was excellent, and the a/c was thankfully perfect. We really hope we can return.
