We spent a week in Isle La Motte with my husband and college-aged daughter. We had a lovely week. The home was as pictured - cute, comfortable, and very clean. The lake area is sandy, clean, and separated from neighbors so you have your own area. The rental came with the ability to use the owner's canoe, paddle boat, 2 kayaks and 2 bicycles. For evenings, there was a fire pit for making s'mores by the lake, as well as board games and cards. Finally, Jim and Sally (owners) are just lovely. We would definitely come back!

Even better than expected
From the front, this cottage looks small, but it is deceiving. Once inside we discovered it was roomy enough for three adults and three children. I am very familiar with Isle la Motte and this is a rare gem. The house is clean, well-furnished and stocked, air-conditioned (!), and easy to feel at home in. We really only needed to bring our clothes and food. The sandy beach is a rarity on ILM and was wonderful for the kids (all under 5). The shallow water was safe for them to play in and we felt very comfortable the entire time we were there. Jim (owner) was helpful but unobtrusive. I highly recommend Willow Point!

Every amenity we could imagine was provided. We were very comfortable and could fully take in the Isle La Motte experience. We enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, the board games, the recliner, the comfy beds, and the general homey atmosphere! A wonderful experience!

CRAFTER'S PARADISE
This was our second annual stay at Willow Point. It IS the perfect house for our crafting retreats. It's clean and spacious! With 4 bedrooms, there is room for us all. So much space for all of our craft supplies. The views are spectacular. The road is quiet enough for an enjoyable walk along the lake. The owners, Jim and Sally, are amazing! Jim even started our bonfires for us!

Scrapbook/Girls Weekend
We are a group of women who get together and travel for a long weekend to scrapbook, make cards, relax, and laugh! We have a great time no matter where go. This year was different. Because of the pandemic we couldn't travel outside Vermont and did we find the gem of all gems right in our own backyard!
5 of us friends setup our tables and scrapbooked family outings, birthdays, Christmas, halloween and every other kind of memory you could think of. What happened was we made more memories by staying here. The house was the perfect size for all of us and the scenery is beyond compare. We cooked out on the grill, sat outside for fire and s'mores at night, and took long walks along the lake in the morning. When we needed a break from scrapbooking - we just took a cup of tea or glass of wine and sat in the Adirondack chairs on the shores of Lake Champlain. We almost had to pinch ourselves when we would wake up to the most beautiful sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening.
Our hosts were so kind that we just want to come back so we can hang out with them more! They give you the space you need to enjoy yourselves but are there for anything you may need! And you don't need much. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly think of. Just bring your food!
We are already planning next years get away. We can't wait to scrapbook more memories and we are looking forward to adding this getaway as one of them!

Excellent property, very clean, and equipped with necessary things we needed during our stay. Jim, the owner, is very helpful and welcoming. My girls had a great time even if we were stuck indoors for a day because of the recent storm. I highly recommend the property and experience we just had. Thank you Jim and Sally! The house was amazingly clean as so well appointed an equipped. Everything that could possibly been needed was there. Jim and Sally could not have been nicer or more welcoming. Area was beautiful with magnificent sunsets. Great place with great views.

100% loved our stay!
Willow Point is a sweet home with a really beautiful view of the lake. The house has so many amenities and Sally adds some great little "extra's" around the house that can be used during your stay. Jim and Sally were such a pleasure and it is clear they try to go above and beyond to ensure their visitors enjoy their stay. Next time I make a trip to Isle La Motte I will definitely stay at Willow Point again!

Relaxing stay at Willow Point
Very relaxing stay at Willow Point. We enjoyed the small private beach, the paddle boat, cooked suppers on the BBQ, and admired the beautiful sunsets. Jim, the property Manager was always hepful and never intrusive. We were glad to have bought our groceries before our stay in Champlain supermarket as the country store in Isle Lamotte offers very few products. We also very much enjoyed the Beach at Alburgh Dunes where you can swim and play with children.

Our little piece of heaven
Jim and Sally have an exceptional home ready for any family! Immaculate and warm and comfy for everyone. We were 5 adults and 1 child and found it perfect for us! Kitchen has everything you would need except the food! Even a crockpot! Weber grill used several times. Kayaks and bikes were a blast! Fishing was great too! Will be back next year for sure. Now our little piece of heaven! Jim and Sally were wonderful hosts.

An island getaway
Jim and Sally have created a perfect island getaway. The house is immaculate and comes fully stocked with everything you could need on vacation (save your food). In addition, there are bikes, kayaks and a paddleboat to help you enjoy the island. A wonderfully relaxing spot!!

Literally, home, away!
This was an amazing rental. Everything about booking and arriving was perfect, smooth, easy for a non tech renter!
Once there, we felt right at home, chatting with the contact person, sitting back in lawn chairs to talk about fishing, shared acquaintances, job histories, and family stories. We were given a complete tour of the home, with complete details of Supplies, expectations for safety of water craft, and encouragement to ask for anything we needed!
Throughout the weekend we felt like we had family next door. They did not “hover”, but supported our daily exploring with directions,
We would highly encourage friends to rent this home, and we hope to go there again!
The home was spotless, providing a lovely home , complete with all provisions, more than ample linens, laundry facilities, internet, cayaks, boats for fishing, outdoor amenities, for eating out, fire pit, and beachside seating, .
It is a biker’s dream, with mostly level , low traffic roads, many side roads, quarry and fossil history.
There are not many facilities for grocery, although,there is a serve yourself vegetable/ greens farm stand, and a deli, meat, grocery about 8 miles away in Alburg.
Lots of lakeside walks, drives, some summer local craft/ gift shops within @5 miles.

My husband and I and our three children ages 15, 12 and 10 had a dream vacation week in this immaculately kept and comfortable home and property on beautiful quiet Isle LaMotte. The thoughtful, helpful and wonderful owners are a wealth of information about the area and provided many special touches, including but not limited to fresh vegetables from their garden, treats from their kitchen, and the weekly paper listing events on the island. The road is very quiet and safe for children. We spent the week boating (kayak and paddleboat/board lake access is from the beach across the street, bigger boats can set in down the road) and swimming in the lake, hiking and biking around the island, and enjoyed many nights around the firepit on the private beach. You really don't need to pack anything other than your own food and clothes--the owners have thought of absolutely everything, from a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and linens, to books and games, to kayaks and bikes and a paddleboat. We enjoyed every second of our vacation, we miss it already, and we hope to return soon! My husband quipped, "Don't write a good review because I want this place available next year!"

Great home in a great location, The owner Jim has gone above and beyond to make sure that everything you need and more is available for your stay. This is the most well-equipped rental property I have stayed in. This is a great place to go and enjoy time at the lake.
