Great location with a view of the church from the garden. Very clean, nice decor in keeping with the historic home. Comfortable rooms, nice showers and helpful host.
It would have been helpful to have the kitchen stocked with a selection of pans and enough cutlery etc. However we were able to resolve this with the help of the owner.

The rooms were located very close to the center of Biertan, we booked them for the Full Moon Movie festival and we were getting everywhere within 10 mins, very convenient and also peaceful without too many cars noises since it's not located at the main street. Rooms were nice and clean, the courtyard beautiful; there was a fridge in the hallway for everyone to use, private small shower. The hosts run the other main accommodation in Biertan, Oppidum, and the main restaurant, Taverna Antica, very friendly and responsive.
The accommodation is a bit pricey for the basic services it offers, but there are few remaining alternatives after the big hotel there was closed. It's a good starting point for Biertan explorations, but not really a place to spend a lot of time in (there was no table outside where we could sit with friends in the evenings).

What a welcome! I had such a challenging day hiking on the Via Transivlica. So much rain!!! I arrived and was quickly welcomed and cared for. My room was inviting, cozy, and had a gorgeous hot shower! Dinner was local and my host gave me recommendations that I would not usually try. I’m so glad I stayed here! Breakfast was HUGE! The owner helped this California traveler make the most of my trip. One of my most memorable stays along the VT. THANK YOU!

The location on the Via Transylvanica Trail.
The host was nice and welcoming. The view of the church. very clean.
every other small pension that we stayed at along the via Transilvanica offered some water in the room and some tea or coffee. These were often half the price of this location. The faucet in the bathroom was completely falling off.
