Nestled in Calcasieu Lake, this attractive cabin for $300 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Cissie by the Sea welcomes you to Big Lake, Louisiana! Bring the family to enjoy great fishing and beautiful sunsets at this two bedroom, two bath cottage at Big Lake. This camp has one of the best wharfs in the region, featuring a sink to clean your fish, ability to tie your boat at the end of the wharf (boat slip currently unavailable), two LED fishing lights, and an incredible upper deck where you can enjoy beautiful views and get your tan on. "Cissie by the Sea" sleeps up to eight people and offers great space for entertaining. The screened in porch offers additional seating and dining table. Just 20 minutes from Lake Charles, you'll feel like you've escaped to another world not far from the Creole Nature Trail. There are two trundle beds in one bedroom (sleeps 4) and twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. The queen sofa bed sleeps two. Weber charcoal grill, automatic coffee pot (creamers/sweetners provided) and lots of kitchen amenities will help you enjoy your relaxing time on the lake. Enjoy our games and kayaks available, too! We are proud to welcome you to Cissie by the Sea, which is fully remodeled after Hurricanes Laura and Delta in 2020. We are back and ready to have some fun, so come be a part of our new chapter! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here..This place has all the necessities for you trip. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, and everything you could ask for! The fishing was great, the wide open views inside made it perfect for relaxing and conversation. We will be back and encourage everyone to give this place a shot! The camp is very nice with all the new renovations. Everything on the listing worked as it should. Will go back again. Beautiful sunsets in the evening. The property manager was excellent to work with.

Needing a weekend away, our family rented this camp and was more than pleased! The renting and check-in process was easy, and the camp was immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed the open kitchen and living room layout and the back screened in porch is great! The weather was beautiful, and the sunsets did not disappoint! We did get lucky fishing and crabbing off the wharf, loved the time spent outside. Our family will definitely rent again.

My family and friends had an amazing time! I would highly recommend staying here! I can’t wait to book again! We caught so many fish! The view was amazing! The home was clean! We loved the neighborhood, house was comfortable, actually nice not having to lug everything upstairs. Boat dock and pier is great. Would love to be able to utilize the boat lift to cut down unloading/loading the boat. Overall it is a great place to stay.

Father’s Day weekend was a great success!! The property was great and the view and sunset was amazing. We could hear the live music from the Mariana both nights. We would definitely visit Cassi by the Sea again.

It was so much fun to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday with family at the fishing camp! The cottage is comfortable and homey and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time at the lake. The sunsets are beautiful and the shaded backyard is perfect for an afternoon nap. Be prepared to slow down and reconnect when you visit here. Thanks for a wonderful weekend filled with great memories!

Unfortunately it rained most of the three days we were there . We still managed to enjoy the dock, tied up our boat and did quite a bit of fishing . Caught one redfish two large car and several small trout .

We had a wonderful time at this house. My three sisters and I rented it for a long weekend. We immediately felt comfortable and were delighted with the amenities. Enjoyed the screened porch at all hours and saw a fantastic sunset from the deck.
