The location was great. The balcony furniture is in need of replacement. We were pleased with the unit.

The location of this property is great and the lobby and hallways are wonderful. This particular condo is very dated and not very clean and there were a few bugs. I am a pretty tough Texan but I draw the line at cockroaches. Now it wasn’t so bad that they scattered the when you turned on the lights, but I did kill four. The shower door did not open on one side. And the microwave was not working but they had another one to use.
Now, these are the negatives but this condo is in a great location. The pool is great and the walk to the beach has a pathway thing that keeps you from sinking into the sand. The hot tub was also great and the beds were comfortable.
All this place needs is a bit of a remodel and it would be great.

The condo was a complete letdown. The condition of the appliances - broken and rusty. The freezer smelled like shrimp and the ice tray was dirty. The ceiling tiles were dirty and many had fallen down. The laminate countertops were worn through to particle board, the shower enclosure was moldy and rusty. The furniture was a bunch of mixed-matched junk. The decor on the walls was outdated and dusty. We had to ask for an exterminator to come for roaches!!! The pictures online were NOTHING like what we had opened the door to find. The only saving grace was that the weather was beautiful and we could avoid the condo for most of the day.
Unfortunately, we feel like we were deceived.

We first checked in and there were 2 roaches on the counter. Killed them and didn’t see any more. Tv remote didn’t work in bedroom. Twin beds are very hard and could use some updating with holes in ceiling. Had great view of sunrise and sunset. Overall it was good. Thanks!!

Great location. Great beach view. The condo could use a bit of updating and a couple cosmetics maintenance issues. No broom or mop accessible to sweep or mop up tracked in sand over the week. Other than these small items, it was fantastic for the price point! Would stay at this location again!

First of all, let me start with the positives! I am pleased with the fast reaction by the owner. The AC went out while it was 90-100 degrees out. After having condo maintenance check it out, the owner had the AC replaced that day. Also, the view is amazing from both patios, especially for the fireworks show on the 4th.
Now with that being said, I would have to agree with other comments about the condition of the condo. There was rust and mold around the shower and one of the doors on the shower didn’t slide. The fridge is rusty and the ceiling fans were warped with lights burned out. The lamp on the nightstand had a broken shade that had slid down the base. The pvc pipe patio furniture was ripped and smelled awful. The dresser drawers didn’t pull out and most were broken. There is only a small couch in the living area, so anyone else has to sit at the bar in the old chairs or at the kitchen table. The ceiling tiles (similar to what you see in an office) were stained or had holes. Handle was broken on the microwave and the TV is so old, that the picture quality is hit or miss. Normally, this kind of thing would not bother us, but for paying over 3K for our stay, we were extremely displeased.

You can’t beat the view and location of this property, which was its saving grace. The pictures were very misleading. The place was not very clean and the ceiling tiles were moved and looked like falling apart with dust. We struggled with several things once we got there…blinds to balcony not working, coffee table missing a glass top, fridge not cooling, shower door off track, no plug in bath tub, no hand towels in bathroom or kitchen, dirty towels. We spent the first day getting most of this sorted out instead of enjoying our vacation. After that, we made the most of it and just enjoyed the location and view. Place is ok, but mainly just a place to sleep, pretty basic.

The interior is aged. Could use redo in bath and kitchen appliances. But, all work, and we’re very clean! Management was great to handle any issues. Recommend to those on a budget

We had minor trouble with the TV in the master bedroom and the blinds for the living room window. Staff responded quickly to fix it while we out at the beach. Front desk staff at the Aquarius were exceptional!
My only recommendations: maybe upgrade the coffee maker to a k-pod type. Easier for travelers. And the shower door was a little squeaky/ rough to close. But we stayed in October, so that may have already been addressed.
Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends!

Time to update!
Condo is very outdated. Master bed was unusable. We slept in the twin beds. Condo needs to be completely updated.
The complex is very nice and in an outstanding location. We will stay at this location again but not this particular condo.

The place itself does need some updating though. The outside furniture needs replaced as while sitting in chairs, due to torn and weathered cushions, rubbed against back of thighs making uncomfortable to view the beautiful ocean.
The ceiling in spots needs fixed as well as it is more of a store appearance with removable fixtures and a lot were not fitted correctly leaving open spots.
Overall: it was right for the money and what we could afford!
The staff at the actual condo was the best! Huge Thank you to Kris at the front desk whom allowed us to borrow her personal fan from home so my daughter could sleep at night!!

The place itself does need some updating though. The outside furniture needs replaced as while sitting in chairs, due to torn and weathered cushions, rubbed against back of thighs making uncomfortable to view the beautiful ocean.
The ceiling in spots needs fixed as well as it is more of a store appearance with removable fixtures and a lot were not fitted correctly leaving open spots.
Overall: it was right for the money and what we could afford!
The staff at the actual condo was the best! Huge Thank you to Kris at the front desk whom allowed us to borrow her personal fan from home so my daughter could sleep at night!!

The parking is tight and if you come with another group they have to park in the street. Only one car allowed. Forget trying to park a large truck. We had hell getting in the parking spots. The beach was PACKED. We ended up paying the for a beach pass just to find a spot to enjoy without being on top of others. Oh and the AC did not cool! Check in is at 4 so it's a whole day waisted that you paid for. When we got there our room was not ready. They finally finished cleaning about 5:30. Check out is actually 10:30, not 11:00.

Ok but needs improvement for families
As a family with two young kids we stayed here in December and overall we had a good experience, but would love to see improvements before coming back.
What we loved:
- laundry on site that takes cards
- front desk staff was always courteous and helpful
- availability of luggage and shopping carts
- ease of check out
- water spray by beach gate
- availability of extra beach toys
- blackouts courtains
What needs improving:
- pool needs to be heated to be usable during cold months. We were told that the pool is heated, and I believe it is, but the heater is turned off at night time and it is not covered overnight thus leaving it icy cold for most of the day. As a family with young children having a usable pool is one of the most important parts of any vacation.
- we would love it if hot tub was available to families. One way to do that is to reduce the temperature of the hot tub to make it usable for younger people.
- the unit needs clothes hangers, there were no hangers provided in the closet thus making them unusable.
- the unit needs hooks to hang hats, towels, bags. Additionally, a towel rock or extra hooks to hang towels for drying would be extremely useful. Instead we had to drape our wet towels on chairs and tables to dry. This is inconvenient.
- the unit needs a colander and a can opener, and knifes need to be sharpened.
- some of the sealing tiles are shifting and look like they might fall out.
- the queen size bed is very, very squeeky.

The condo was clean and exactly as described. Decently priced and extremely convenient. Staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Outdated and poorly maintained condo. Paint peeling off walls and doors. Rusty shower doors. One blind wouldn’t roll up.
Rental agency is 10 blocks away for towel service and check-in. Not very convenient.
