About this house rental
Situated in Johnson City, this lovely house for $109 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Condo next to East Tennessee State University and very close to the Veteran’s Administration and Johnson City Medical Center. Just a few minutes from downtown or north Johnson City. 6 miles to downtown Jonesborough and the storytelling festival. 20 miles to Bristol Motor Speedway. HVAC replaced a year or so ago. It’s a no frills townhouse (no pool or tennis courts, garage, etc.). The condo association is in the process of doing some exterior work and landscaping, so things are a bit bare on the outside. However, the inside is very clean and comfortable. This is a very safe and mostly quiet neighborhood. It is near campus, so occasionally students get noisy, but my neighbors are very polite and courteous. I’ve always felt very safe there. I have two parking spaces. If additional spaces are needed, I can usually make arrangements with one of my neighbors.

Overall we enjoyed our visit. The owner seems to care about his guests. The property was clean and well furnished with supplies, including a nice gift basket with snacks and water. My only complaint was the noisy beds. They slept fine but any movement caused squeaks. Also, both bedrooms are upstairs and we had to supervise my elderly mother on the rather steep stairs. These are minor issues and we really liked the property. It is very convenient to ETSU and that was great.

Perfect spot to unwind. Close to ETSU. Great location to Buffalo Mountain and the local breweries. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the back deck for breakfast, office check in and drinks. . Johnny was personable and welcoming!

We appreciated the welcome basket as well as dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, and the like, which not all rentals include. Our only complaint was that the mattresses were protected by a plastic cover (which I completely understand why) which made the beds very hot. Other than that, our stay safe as perfect. Thank you!

The townhouse was very clean, with lovely interior decorating. Everything we could want was supplied in the unit, and a welcome basket full of goodies awaited us on arrival. There is a creek behind the unit with geese, which we enjoyed. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay here. We came down for the NASCAR race at Bristol and the place was a short half hour drive. The owners had great communication and I would recommend people to stay here.

Good for the quick trip
This property was perfectly situated for our visit from Florida to our college student in Tennessee. The owner was really really pleasant. Thank you for the thoughtful basket that we discovered upon our arrival. Everything that we needed was at the property.

The house is so cute and clean! Johnny has everything you need to make your stay feel just like home. It’s within walking distance to ETSU (although we drove) and the town has everything you could want or need. We will be back!

Exactly as advertised. Good location, convenient to everything. Property Owner responds very quickly and extremely friendly. Beats a hotel any day hands down. We would stay here again and hope it’s available the next time we come to town.

Quiet, clean, comfortable
We enjoyed the grill and back deck. We had coffee and breakfast every morning on the deck where you can hear the sound of the nearby small creek. We grilled steaks one evening and the grill was a nice addition. It’s a fully stocked kitchen so if you don’t want to eat out, everything you need to cook is in the kitchen. The towels and linens are super clean. We recommend booking this unit. We plan on staying again on future visits.
