The townhouse was conveniently located in the part of Dubuque that we wanted to visit. It was a short walk to restaurants, the Mississippi River Museum and other venues in that area. The patio was a nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning.

Visiting family in the area and were looking for a comfortable place where our family of 4 could spread out. Perfect for our needs- two bedrooms, nice kitchen (my toddler was very entertained by the multi colored lights), comfortable couch, and clean.

We have stayed in many VRBO properties before. We were dismayed that the property lacks such basic amenities as tissue, napkins, a plunger in the event it is needed. There was an abundance of bath towels but 3 washcloths and two hand towels. VRBO's we have stayed in supply bar soap, shampoo, shower wash, and lotion; this had none. A posting asked us to remove our shoes so as to protect the floors and honestly the bottoms of my shoes had less dirt on them than did my feet after walking on the hardwood. The tub upstairs drains slowly. I have always used laundry facilities in other properties. The washer door was wet possibly from condensation when I opened it but I could not get it to function. Posting instructions would have been helpful. I agree with other postings that the patio area needs to be cleaned in order to be usable and the sliding screen on the patio needs repair. The surrounding area is lovely and the space in the home is more than adequate. Communication with Jeff was easy. However due to lack of basic amenities as described above we would not stay here again.

Great location! We had a great family weekend with kids. There’s so much within walking distance. Woke up one morning to snow, the house was warm and cozy. It had everything we needed. We definitely want to do this again!

A group of four of us ventured to Dubuque to see the eagles around the area. The property we chose was perfect and very well maintained, close to downtown, and easy to find. Other than the winter snowstorm which deterred our eagle sitings, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This property is in the perfect location and walking distance to see many sites. It is a short drive to Galena to experience even more. It is a great place for 2 couples to split . The bedding was comfortable . The place was well furnished.

Very nice stay. My daughter, mom, and I stayed for a long weekend for a bridal shower. Everything was as listed, however, the outdoor area really needed some attention. We generally drink our coffee outside while on vacation but we did not at this location. I would stay here again!

I was in town for a family reunion. I looked at hotels and the reviews so the idea of having more space seemed worth it. So glad I did. The property is an older remodeled building that was cozy and well located. Lots of things in walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The owner was helpful and responsive. Would come again.
