A lovely place to land on a chilly dark night after the long ferry trip from Melbourne - the fire was going and the house was spotless. Great communication from owner. Recommend!

We had a brilliant week-long stay in this excellent property over Christmas. It’s honestly hard to fault anything about the place.
The house has lots of character and is compact, but in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It was ideal for my wife and I with our two young children. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is nicely set up, allowing us to cook and eat most meals on site. We also loved eating in the outside entertaining area under the verandah.
The surrounding gardens are spacious and beautiful, with massive lawns for the kids to run around and play. The little ones also loved the horses and chickens just over back fence. It was in a quiet and peaceful setting, but still within a few minutes drive of shops and takeaway food options.
The only thing to be aware of is the lack of wi-fi on site. It wasn’t a massive issue for us, as we just used our phone connections to stream anything we wanted. But it’s worth bearing in mind. Overall we would highly recommend the property for short or long stays in Ulverstone. Thanks.

Perfect and luxurious
We rented last minute as a stopover between Strahan and Launceston. The host was very accommodating and we found the property to be beautifully presented, clean, very comfortable, well equipped and family friendly. Highly recommended!

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed our time there and especially liked sitting by the fire with a cup of tea. It was cosy and perfect for our young family of 4. Andrea came to check that everything was okay and made our stay super easy. Would stay again any time. The only thing I noticed was a small amount of highway noise but it didn't interfere with our sleep.
