The room is in a great location near the clock tower piazza. Easy to find, very responsive host, comfortable bed, parking one block away. We didn’t pay for breakfast but were told we could take a pastry for free if we wanted - that was kind.
The room was fine - basic but just what we needed.

Good location and well equipped kitchen to have a good choice of continental breakfast.
Thw wifi was inconsistent. It is a city centre property but our "large diuble" was just adequate. Sadly, Messina is not an interesting city. The locals had most fun screaming at 3am as well as driving loud cars and motorbikes with even louder mysic. However, I can hardly blame Il Galleone for that.
