Well equipped and thoughtfully decorated throughout. I guess its probably the perfect place for families with children, but not ideal for couples.
With it being the hosts family getaway home, I apologise for being so brutally honest.
We felt the cleaners had left before they had finished cleaning through, we cleaned everything down ourselves with bacterial wipes as we arrived, so many dirty handmarks everywhere.
Google "Portreath Harbour smell".. ugh, absolutely stomach churning stink. Every time the tide flows out there's no way you could have a window open because the smell is revolting - even with them tightly shut, you could still smell the rotten egg odour. Absolutely ruined everything. Too many dogs, lots of noise and everything you would wish to leave behind when you go on holiday. Unfortunately, Portreath is not somewhere we would want to return to ... EVER!
