About this house rental
Nestled in Mitchell, this charming house for $79 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome y'all! Our home, which was built in 1925, is located in the historical area of Mitchell downtown. walking distance to the Worlds Only Corn Palace, Pepsi-Cola Community Center & Theater, Antique Mall, Escape Rooms, Coffee Shop, Cupcake Shop, Movie Theater and so much more! Includes off road parking for 2 vehicles. We love attending an event at the Corn Palace and not having to find a parking spot. We can just walk! Makes a great date weekend. Once again Your stay has an amazing view of the World's Only Corn Palace! In the evening you can view the light up domes, while walking to all the events at the Corn Palace and downtown. If you enjoy a little bit of history, antiques, & modern touch you’ll find our home enjoyable. On Wednesday’s we are utilizing a private office in the home from 9-5 . There is another office space in the kitchen for you to use. Please note that if you are checking in on Wednesday, their would be someone in the office from 9-5. (We can make adjustments for your check in on Wednesday if you would like to check in earlier.) If traveling to the Black Hills, we do have two other Airbnbs in Spearfish SD for you to enjoy!

The pull out bed cannot be justified as comfortable, therefore I would regard the house as accommodates 2 adults. The house is lacking towel bars in the kitchen and bathroom. The black rug under the bed hides the bed frame legs, especially the middle legs, very easy to overlook and possibly break a toe. Not much fun for vacationing guests.
Overall a very cute set up, just lacking a few essentials. Thanks for everything…

The Corn Palace Cottage is exactly what we needed for our stay during DWU graduation! Excellent location and proximity to the Corn Palace, Stacey was very easy to contact and communicate with, check-in/out was a very simple process, the home was cozy and clean. Will stay again when in Mitchell!

Yeah, can you put this is such a perfect place to stay while visiting mitchell. It’s right next to the corn Palace. Plus, within walking distance to every great restaurants and pubs in Mitchell on Main Street. Cozy, neat and everything you need. This will always be our PLACE TO STAY in Mitchell, while visiting our Daughter at DWU.

Staying at the Mitchell, SD Vrbo was just what we needed. We enjoyed a nice meal made on the hotplate then had fun exploring the decorated, lighted Corn Palace. The pullout couch was surprisingly very comfortable. Highly recommended vrbo!

Love Mitchell
I’ve been coming to Mitchell for a long time to hunt pheasants, always stayed in one of the local hotels, I decided to VRBO it this year and boy was I lucky to find this property. I’ll be here next year, thank you.

Very cute place overlooking the Corn Palace. Clean, well-appointed, and I loved having the use of a washer and dryer. Would recommend this rental if you’re visiting or driving through South Dakota.

Perfect for my needs
The location was perfect. The house was well equipped. The only thing I would have liked to have would be a full size stove. With just a single burner hot plate and a small counter top oven (which could not be used at the same time), it made eating at home quite limited.

This property was easy to find, and conveniently located right near downtown. Great communication with property manager who answered all questions promptly. It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home for a long time. I will definitely stay here again on my way through. :-)

We were thrilled to find out how close we were to The Corn Palace and walkable to many downtown shops. The vacation house was no frills but had everything we needed. It is very comfortable! There are lots of choices for eating out if that is your plan.

Great location and clean
We were passing through Mitchell to go to Yellowstone and wanted to see the corn palace. This VRBO was perfect location for our family of four. You can park right in front, making the unloading process from your car very easy. 1 minute walk to corn palace and local restraunts and bars was great! Clean and definitely would come back!
