About this house rental
Located in Maggie Valley, this attractive house for $108 per night is a great choice for your next trip. We are in the middle of everything that people come to Maggie Valley for. Our intention is for your stay to be a memorable experience! Suite Escape is in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature. It is a stylishly decorated ground level of our home with a private entrance. The kitchen is complete with a full size refrigerator, convection/toaster oven, microwave oven, electric skillet, hot plate with ceramic saucepan, regular drip and Keurig coffee makers. Cable TV is available in both the living room with DVD player and the bedroom. You have your own private deck that runs the length of the house. You may take the table and chairs outside on the deck for al fresco dining. There is a heated mattress pad on the king size bed for frosty nights! We use all organic and non-toxic cleaning products. Guest Access:The entrance door has a keyless entry system & guests will be issued a unique passcode before arrival. Guests may use the driveway to unload. Parking is available on the upper level for your vehicles. We are motorcycle friendly. We may share our garage space by special arrangement. Interaction with Guests We live on the upper level of the home, so most of the time we'll be available to our guests. We are happy to loan household items as needed and offer recommendations . Washer and Dryer may be available for use by special arrangement. The Neighborhood Our neighborhood is a great place to walk. If you like to hike, you can go all the way to the top of the mountain and Maggie Overlook! We are near some great restaurants and local shops, and we're walking distance from the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. It's a 10 minute drive to Waynesville and the grocery store, it's 20 minutes to Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park. Getting Around It is recommended to have your own vehicle. If you will be coming in the winter, 4WD or AWD is helpful. However, if we have heavy snow, you can park at the bottom of Summit. Let us know and we will help you up the 0.4 mile to the house. Other Things to Note We are biker friendly. We are 4/10 mile from the highway, and there is a bit of a climb, but bikes pass by our house all the time! The place was very clean and in a great location. The add did not clearly state that I can recall it was a basement apartment. Other than hearing walking from the floor above past 11 PM and not having control of the temperature leavel, it was a good place. I was under the impression it was stand alone, though. It was great to be able to bring pets.

It rained our entire stay but that didn’t matter because the atmosphere and surroundings were so quaint, quiet and peaceful. Tasteful decor and comfy furniture. We will definitely book again as soon as we can.

The property was exactly as described, easy to get to, beautiful view, very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately my mother had a medical emergency while we were there but Mel and Lynda went above and beyond to help me out. They even took care of my puppy while I was at the hospital with Mom. They worked hard to make a difficult situation as easy as possible. If they had not been so helpful, I would have been lost. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stay in Maggie Valley.

Suite escape is the perfect little mountain getaway! It has everything you need to make your stay so comfortable, including all the little extra amenities! Mel and Lynda are the most kind host and hostess! The bed and bath linens are high end, and the bed sleeps so comfortably. My two search parameters were king, size bed, and dog friendly. The bed slept beautifully, and our dog was welcomed in the same way.! Thank you again for a perfect mountain escape!! We can’t wait to return again soon

Mel is the perfect host. He met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of Suite Escape. He had paid great attention to details even setting out wine glasses for my birthday celebration! He had stocked water in the fridge along with multiple coffee creamers for morning coffee. There were also a great selection of all types of coffee and hot chocolate! We loved the motion light in the hallway so you won't have to fumble around in the dark to get to the restroom. The doggie gate at the end of the long deck was a great addition as my furbaby Bentley had some running space, which he thoroughly enjoyed! The king size bed was comfortable and the heated mattress cover was very nice. We loved our stay at "Suite Escape" and hope to return on our next Maggie Valley visit! Thank you Mel for your hospitality. You made us feel welcome and treated us as old friends!

The Suite Escape is a perfect get away for anyone looking to spend some time in the Maggie Valley or surrounding area. The place was clean,comfortable,had everything you needed and was very relaxing. The Host was very nice and informative of stuff to do in the area. It is a central location so you're close to everything as well. Would definitely stay here again anytime if in or around Maggie Valley.

It was everything we needed. The Keurig coffeemaker was a pleasant surprise. There were two of us and our dog and the size of the space was fine. We were in a quiet neighborhood on the side of the mountain but not too high.

Mel met us upon arrival to give us a suite tour and answer any questions. The best part of our stay was the attention to detail that the host took to make sure our stay was memorable. Mel was a great host and super accommodating! There was gift basket of snacks and water bottles in fridge awaiting us. They came in handy as we stayed there for a truck show at the fair grounds. Bedroom had beautiful view with the double glass doors and a covered porch the length of house. Maggie Valley is super walkable town but definitely need to drive to main road from house unless you have Olympic trained legs! You are staying in a house truly on a mountain side after all. I would love to stay again in the fall as the view is breathtaking as if you’re in a tree house. Parking is tight-glad we didn’t tow a show truck. Again-you’re staying on a legit mountain so there’s only so much room:). Overall very welcoming, calming beautiful space to stay in while you’re away from home.

We really enjoyed staying at the Suite Escape. It was so cozy, clean and right in the middle of Maggie Valley. Short ride to most venues. A lot of good restaurants near by with great food. We will be back!!

The views were beautiful and the hosts were super accommodating. My mom has an oxygen machine and mobility issues and they helped make our stay comfortable. Lots of little touches were added. Would def stay again.

Our stay was a delight. The communication with Mel from the beginning was great. No surprises. The unit was warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time on the deck relaxing. This was a nice getaway spot to relax and enjoy the fall foliage. Mel also suggested a few placed to eat which were great. I highly recommend Suite Escape.

The Suite is conveniently located but far enough out of town when there are events happening to be away from the chaos. Mel is an amazing host and I would definitely recommend his Suite and return for another visit.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Suite Escape celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect distance to local attractions and restaurants but the place was so nice we also enjoyed just sitting on the porch. Thanks for letting us bring our pups, they had a great time, too.

We absolutely Loved Staying at Mel and Lynda’s rental. Beautiful and Cozy inside and Out. Very clean and had the Best Towels and Linens, down to Sheet Warmers on the Plush Bed. Everything was Great and I’ve never had better Hosts during any of our Stays! I recommend staying her to anyone and we will be staying again soon!! Danny and Linda Boyd

Perfect mountain getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at Suite Escape. We enjoyed the cozy space that provided exactly what we needed. The heated bed was divine and the view was spectacular. Mel was a great host and greeted us upon arrival. Location was good, close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. Overall, we loved our stay and hope to return soon!
